i think the decision to pull out is because of zheng bo (which im not sure what's wrong) because ma jin's still gonna play for WD.

congratulation to Ma Jin / Wang SL on winning the HKSS WD!!

their WR could be up significantly at the next update this week...

however, did anyone noticed that their winning points from the WC09 was not included in their current WR points?? what happened??

if having their points from HKSS and WC09 counted, they should be WR#1 la...

and they are the hottest WD this year, quickly replacing CS/ZYL... winning 6 champions so far this year, including 3 SS titles amongst 4 SS entered... what a scary success rate!!!

of course it's a pity that ZYW/ZTT pair no longer exist... otherwise they should be the best WD pair this year, winning both WC and AE...

you know it's no use la... ;)

but i mean this is ridiculous... this would affect their seeding in all forthcoming competitions... particularly when this is a new pair and therefore points from every competition counts...

    It's strange indeed..

..for BWF not to include their 2009 WC pts:confused:...either that or it has something to do with them not qualified to get the WC pts as a pair (which, imo, is also unlikely)..

their WC pts were restored... and become WR#1 therefore...

I don't see the point in retired players in playing professional badminton anymore (as individuals) if this is the case. Wouldn't that be match fixing? Isn't that illegal? I know it happens in many sports but I don't think its that blatant to be honest.
