Vinlux Vi-18 is meant to last for 18 hours of play

Vinlux Vi-18 is meant to last for 18 hours of play, I thought. :):):)

But seriously, 0.63mm strings strung at 27 lbs are only expected to last for just that long.

DinkALot's Badminton String Review Tables have gone missing

    Hi azabaz_ipoh,

You are correct... the DinkALot's Badminton String Review Tables that were in posts #1 and #202 before, are no longer there (as at today, Wednesday 12-December-2007).:confused::confused:

Perhaps, kwun accidentally deleted the tables.

BTW... I will leave it to you to inform kwun about the missing tables.

    Cheers... chris@ccc

Yes, I noticed that too earlier...but looks like..

..all the other reviews' tables are back;)..I also doubt kwun had deleted the links, because IIRC, all the tables were "hot-linked" to DinkAlot's computer/server...And now, they're still linked to the same location..:)

So what do you think is the best string for a NS9000s? I've been using the NG95 in my previous racket, a NS6000 and I just love the feel of NG95. But I'm not sure if it's the racket or the string that gave me that feel ;S

Anyway, to you guys that have tried the BG80 and NG95, is there a different feeling to use the NG95 or is it very similair?

    Thanks!

Today, I had the opportunity to Demo all the new, non-released Ashaway Racquets. Chrome ones.. and racquets with new 'grommets' which arent really grommets. There were creases around the bottom of the frame, so the string would go around the bottom of the frame, where the MP grommets are on MP racquets.
Anyway, back to topic. The Ashaway racquets of course, came with Ashaway strings. I tested out the Micro-Legend, Micro-Power and PowerGut66 Neon. I didn't really like the 'feel' of the Micro-legend, but I fell in love with the powergut66. It 'felt' so good. My favourite string for now.

    Ashaway PG66 Neon
    Ashaway PG66 Power

Whats the difference? Any links...cos i just re-strung with PG66 but it doesn't say Neon or Power?

    Anyone can help me?

    Tks

    ashaway's powergut 66

yes the ashaway powergut 66 has very impressive playability but just be careful since it's not as durable. mine broke in a misshit :( but i will still consider using one in my secondary racket. :)

thanks for the table, I agree with Dinkalot, I love BG66, 65, 80 and 85. The thing that confuses me is the control column, for example yonex bg66 rates pretty well for control but I personally can't play the net as well, the string is far too repulsive for me at the net, is this just me or do others feel the same?
