sigit budiarto for me cos he's 'the' sigit...his style is his own originality, no one can ever copy him..a 'sigit' only appears every 1000 years hehe shame he's not competing anymore..

Peter Gade for being the best ever player and for representing europe while asia is dominating the badminton world...
\sarcasm on Li Yong Bo. Someone who will employ "any" tactic to win a match(Not just the match he is playing). His on/off court swearing skill and talent are unrivaled. His badminton skill wise...I am not so sure. \sarcasm off On a more serious note, Peter Gade. This guy has been consistent and still one of the best out there. Pretty much the only MS symbol from western countries.
There's a lot of players that I idolized like LD, FHF, CY, LYD, JJS, KDM, CW, TH for their great ability. But as far as being my hero, or the person that I want to play like the most. It would be Sigit Budiarto.
I'd say Zhao Jianhua. On his day, he was unbeatable. Remember watching him take apart Joko in the All-England final when I was a kid. Outstanding performance.
For me, it's Hendra Setiawan. I like his elegant movements and gentle manners. Needless to mention his technical ability and power.
Lin Dan because he always has that air of confidence, with a tinge of arrogance, whenever he plays.. His play is consistent and he doesn't seem to be intimidated by anyone
