since we are talking about LD and LCW, of course the scores are the result of the match between LD and LCW. How about this score, after 21-12, 21-8. the very next time they meet again (about 3 months later), 21-18, 21-8. The Datuk just loves the 8s.
oh...i tot we are talking abt lcw is not better than ina player???... i can tell u ur score is wrong...it was a 21-18.21-9...
No doubt TH is a great player in the world. But it is already past. TH is past tense. Even now an unknown player can beat TH now. Remember TH being sent home by mas veteran player in OG08?
Datuk is good. But mentality is the problem, i mean a major problem by mas player, including DLCW.....
According to the New Straits Times, Lee Chong Wei wants to win the national title 10 times... that too, consecutively So, does it mean that he aims to improve far beyond his current skills? Or does it mean that he sees no credible opponent emerging in the next three years? (That's right up to the 2012 London Olympics!)
Lee Chong Wei winning 7 consecutive Badminton national titles . Many have questioned about Lee Chong Wei's mental strength. We now have LCW winning 7 consecutive national titles. Doesn't it tell us something? It's a great achievement. Wonder what is the record, similar to this, for other sports and/or for other nations. Must check the Guinness Book of Records one day. If LCW is determined to win 10 consecutive national titles, then he must be determined to be Malaysia No.1 right up to the 2012 London Olympics. Isn't LCW setting double pressure for himself ... to become the first Malaysian to win a 10th consecutive Badminton national title, and to become the first Malaysian to win an Olympic gold medal? Let's hope that LCW can do it. .
well...sorry chris...i dont think many will want lcw do this...this show mas have no ms player can beat lcw in 10 years this......
since china team withdraw from super series final (off course no LINDAN).. we want to see how far lee chong wei can go.
well...lcw say he want to win the ss final...hmm....i think...just sdk and pg can post a threat to him...
I'm one of those who have maintained that Lee Chong Wei doesn't have the mental strength to cover the last mile at the biggest events. Um, he has yet to show that my idea is a mistaken one The fact that he has won the national title seven times in succession does show that he is great player... but it also shows how weak Malaysia's second-rung line-up is. As for 10 consecutive national titles, it is hardly a record. Squash legend Jahangir Khan won the British Open 10 consecutive times! And, note this, the British Open is an international title Any attempt at comparison would be a terrible mistake. Over five years (1981 to 1986), Jahangir Khan won 555 matches - consecutively!
