I think the Finns has an indirect message to the Indians not to shortchange their stature and the badminton fans around the world by not giving up-to-date and live results.

The much smaller Finland Int'l Challenge in terms of prize money, is even providing the tournament software scores for fans while the much fancier Indian Open is unable to. What a shame!

So we do not have a chance to follow the tournament closely and to play our PAW game! :(

Down under here not many choices of PAW-ers...

What are the rules regarding group changing?

You have to stick with your team members for 1 year. Choose wisely

And dropouts cannot join another team for 1 year!

    So "It's now or never"!
    :D:D:D

It's almost like the "till death do us part" thing!

Regarding the rules of cannot changing team or banned for one calendar year, how do we count the one calendar year thing? is it from the tournament the person opt out or usual calendar year? How if someone can't participate in one tournament? is it counted as opt out?

    Good point.

I personally think that we should take a calendar year as 2008 (this year), 2009, 2010, etc., to allow for some flexibility and to allow a fresh start to a new year.

Which means that if a player opts out of a team after the Finnish Challenge, he/she must wait till the end of 2008 before starting out for another team from 2009 onwards. He/she could continue to participate in the PAW as an indvidual player just as before.

No, if a team player can't participate in any tournament for some reason, it does not mean he is automatically out. It depends on the team decision and the player concerned.

Supposed a player knows that he would not be able to participate in three or more consecutive PAWs, it would be advisable that he consults the team as his absence will weaken the team's results, since the team has less players to rely on. But if the team still thinks it is okay, then the status quo remains.

I hope the rest of the team competitors are agreeable to this suggestion, especially the one on the calendar year.
    :)

    2. Fellowship of The Ring (FOTR Team)

    A bit too long lah!

I prefer the second without the pirates but would like it shorter like

    Ring of Fellowship (ROF) :)

As suggested you better be fast and grab your team members quickly.

May I suggest abedeng as one of your members.
Ah almost forgot, Robin as another so that both of you can work together instead of fighting each other!

It seems that the excitement level of the PAWers are comparatively higher in this Finnish Challenge tournament than many previous tournaments... It is not even a GP tournament...

Hmm, been away for a while, the group thing sounds interesting. So, what groups are available now?
