The only surprise for the INA contingent is Sony Dwi Kuncoro's defeat to Hsieh Yu-Hsin. Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir have progressed to the SF, this time they will face a stiff challenge from the upcoming Danish pair of Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen.

As expected too, the fresher Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati triumph over their seniors Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir and prove that they are indeed a worthy top 10 pair. They will await the winner of the match between Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen and Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui.

In the MD, INA guarantees a place in the Final as Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan entertain the newly formed pair of Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra. AG/Alvent beat KOR's no 2 pair of Cho Gun Woo/Yoo Yeon Seong in straight-sets 21-19, 21-17.

Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra prove that chemistry between the two players on and off the court play a role in the partnership. They have done well in reaching the SF this week and we shall see how far this new pair can go in the Korea SS next week and subsequent tourneys. If there's team order, I think coach Sigit will not let them beat Kido/Hendra tomorrow ;)

The good thing is, both players are quite experienced and have the capability of beating experienced or upcoming pairs (like today's match).

Let them beat Kido/Hendra?? Blasphemy!!! Don't you know INA and the rest of the world now subscribe to LYB's way????!!!! :p;)

Hendra/Alvent have good chance though. MK/HS have been giving up big lead in consecutive matches.....it'll cost them dearly if it keep happening.

An expected outcome, in a very tough fight, MAS girls can only last 2 and a half games.

    Similar to French Open final.
