He just thrashed Santoso in straight sets. And I think he's using the BS12, like most of the Korean team is.

Well as far as I know the retirement only concerns international competition, just like JJS still plays for a club in the Ntl league...and perhaps LHI didn't count competing in the 2nd home event as international competition? After all it's 2 steps down from the KO PSS and he probably doesn't have to travel a whole lot...I'm a bit curious though whether he'll start playing other events again, I really like having him around to put the younger players on their toes. Rather incredible how in shape he still is, after all he's nearing the age where Peter Gade started to drop in the rankings due to his loss of physicality yet LHI still appears to be going strong... PS: Just had a quick peek at the TS link, there's a few other 'retired' Korean players in the draw. Han Sang Hoon, for example, lost to Ko/Shin, and he had been retired from International competition since 2009 or 2010. I guess the Koreans really don't treat their home events as real International competition, or rather when they retire from IC they probably mean they won't travel far to play anymore...
Hi Fans: I heard china team is still using Yonex BG 80 and 70 string rather than Li ning string .. Is it true ?
Any idea what racket is Kim Ki Jung using for Korea Grand Prix Open? He was using MX JJS all along and i dont think he is using MX90 as the racket head frame looks different. Interestingly, Kim Sa Rang has been using MX90 throughout the Korea Grand Prix Open, but i realised he change his racket to MX80 during the 3rd set of the MD final and eventually he tossed his MX80 to the lucky fan in the crowd after winning the title.
Pretty sure about that. Sometimes lighting will have some effect with colour of racket. Lee Dong Keun previously using MX90, but in KGPO have change to BS series. Don't have clear picture to check with bs series that he using.
Yes i noticed it too during the MS final. Definitely BS-LHI. Im using that racket and totally loving it!
LHI previously using BS11, compared BS11 and BSLHI what i feel LHI little bit more hh and little bit stiff. Manuver as like the other BS series, superb. Another feel when holding BSLHI, solid feel.
I am quite sure that Kim Sa Rang is holding MX80 because of the red paint on the racket head frame. MX90 does not have any red paint on the racket head frame. I don't think Kim Ki Jung is holding MX90 because of the white paint on the side of the racket head frame. The side of the racket head frame of MX90 is black with gold and green design.
Yeah it is MX80 by KSR. The 1 KKJ holding has white throat, not a TK9000 too, looks like MX90 at my side.
does anyone know what Hayakawa is using at the moment? Doesn't look like the usual black and yellow kumpoo racket he's been using for the longest time :\
3U isn't a grip size, it's a weight class. G3 would be a grip size - but I have no idea what size he uses. Keep in mind that his Bs12 is different from the one you can buy, as are all KRP rackets (=rackets issued to the Korean team, which have a KR and P in the code).
