What? My boss told you who I am? Damn... hahaha.. Between, I dont play badminton. I just assist him for the Monday, Wednesday & Friday session. I mean, in BC's thread.
Update: Yonex Aerosensa 30 - RM60.00 (minimum 3 tubes) Yonex Voltric 70 - RM469.00 (Not include grip and string)
Hi guys, I just moved back here overseas. I'm looking to get a Yonex Arc 10 PG Model and I live in Sri Hartamas. Would you say this shop is my best option? Price wise vs my location. Heard Puchong is cheap but that is really far and Pertama is heavy traffic. Also the first time I'm buying a racket from a physical shop. Do I need to worry about counterfeits? Previously been using mybadmintonstore.com.
Hi Coffeeville, Welcome back to you. Its very hard to speak on behalf of you to tell you that this shop is the best option for you. It depends on your effort & time to look around & travel around. For me, I hate heavy traffic, hard to get a parking space & I travel only to get what I'm looking for. Time is precious bro.. I dont have the luxury of time. As far as I'm concerned, KD's don't sell fake racket. So far, the owner has been a "good boy" to me. If I feel i got cheated, I will go and confront (gentle way) the owner. Personally, I don't think KD is the best shop to get a new racket. They don't give you good packages. Puchong & Pertama Complex would give you the best bargain. But then again, after the calculation i did, KD is still the best for me. This is simply because of my limited time to travel & parking issue. So, it's still a win-win for me & the shop. Happy shopping then.
Sometimes, it's more important to find a good shop with reasonable priced (and skilled) stringing/grip/shuttles/others near you than to have the cheapest racket. After a while, the prices works itself out (like Ultraman say) on gas and time. Racket is a "one-time" thing but you will go for other supplies more often and those all add up.
I think Klang Valley is not that big, if we talk about badminton shops, Pertama Complex, AJ or RZ at Puchong, Sam Sports, Hock Eng Bangi and the new KD Sports.. consumers will willing to travel to any of these shops if they can offer "huge" discounts.. example, if the difference is small, then I will buy from the shop that is more convenient for me.. if the shop is far but can offer me price difference of RM 100 and above, I dont mind travelling there..
Taken everything into consideration. I have decided to continue to purchase a bare racket from my regular online store and then string/grip it at my usual Bangsar shop.
i live in kota damansara..after work, visited the shop..took a look at those racket hanging....spotted few fake yy racket..no need to see the serials...inspection on the body and paint job is enough. They have a rare AT900P CP code but poor paint job. Racket price? I'd say better I stick to my current trusted online seller; better price and can COD at my office.
Wow is this true ? I just bough a Yonex SHB shoes yesterday , I guess its original as the quality is quite good. Price is consider good for shoes, got 30% discount.
AT900P was I inspected the most since I saw CP code on the cone. CP(Chinese player, iinm) code so rare. Paint job really bad for a high end racket. The YY logo at the joint kinda doubled. No need to mention the green cap at the bottom, not neat. Price: RM840++. Thats all as far as I remember. Wish can take photo with my phone but didn't dare because I was the only one viewing. I don't think they have all fake YY on the shelf. Perhaps they have genuine YY too. Just be careful when purchase. They do have Victor and Apacs. Price wise. The weird thing, I was the only one viewing and they(3 guys at the counter) didnt greet me. I'm pretty sure most sports shop I went to, must hear, "cari apa boss? racket?" , "mau cari racket?" , "nak cari racket yang macam mana? apa model?" etc. Just don't drop the bad reputation on this shop. No need to close the shop. Just be a wise consumer. Feel free to visit them.
I hope you do know that people wont trust you that much because you are a new member. Just so you know..
