    I think the noise is too ridiculous. I want to check with this.

    It might be better with those USM lenses. But still, noise is totally unacceptable. And the focus system is sugglish too!
    If we could pay attention to their demo clips. We would be able to notice all those clips were shot with a tripod without changing of focus, panning or zooming!;)

    Wont really test the the AF so much

    BTW. 5D Mark II is 19,000HKD now.

    the 5DMkII makes a great badminton camera if applied right. Excellent results Ai-Servo tracking. Here's a sample, still in the midst of 'processing' the rest.. :p

    ..keep browsing the page until you're near the last current 2 pages or so...should be a few of them by Gladius..

    Very interesting pics Gladius and very informative!!

    I found a webpage that said the shutterlag for the 5DM2 as being a few millisecs slower than the 30D (which I have).

    What ISO were you at?

    Did you have the AF assist points on?

    AF-Assit was on. I almost always leave it on. ISO was between 800-3200, varies as I adjust between shots for aperture to see what works best.
