Hi there, I am Rajiv. I'd be coming to Hyderabad (BHEL to be precise) this November. Initially I was intending to get coaching there but, after reading through some of your posts I realized Id be lucky to get some games. So, can someone guide me find a place and players to play badminton with. I am about intermediate into advanced player (Mens doubles). I was thinking of meeting some players at Gachibowli stadium. I'd love to join anyone who plays there and what are the prices like there? Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Btw, am 21 yrs of age doing my final year BTech.

Gachibowli is going to be your best bet to get some games,as almost all the other places are members only syndicates where its going to be really tough getting in to play even a game.Since Gachibowli is pay and play you stand a better chance of hooking up with some group to play.There is also a facebook group and some guys on it plan and play,you could check that out as well

I dont think there are any indoor courts in kompally area,unless one of the gated communities in the Gundlampochampally areas have a court?The district tournaments for 2013 are over.You can keep a lookout for the tournaments coming up in 2014,.There is a facebook group as well,you could try posting queries there as well. https://www.facebook.com/groups/466182130073156/

I have been looking for courts in and around madinaguda for more than 3 months now. PJR (GHMC) court is overflowing and i never found a membership in that court even after trying for 2 continuous months. I donot know the local langauage as well. I sincerely request help to find a indoor court in and around madinaguda.

I am ok to travel even fartehr if it is in evenings. Any help in this would be much appreciated.
