There are no contradictions here. Mine opinions is my own. Not anyone else.
Why do i say federer is like LCW? and LinDan is like Nadal? Reason is because.. when comes down to title fights.. Nadal has the most wins when both face each other. And somemore like an achilles heel for Federer. Same goes to LCW vs Lindan.. Lin Dan wins most of the time when they face each other.
That is my own opinion and views.

LCW does not profess to be the best but he knows he has the capabilities on the right day to take on anyone. That is how I sum up LCW. And he has proven me right time and time again.

When he loses, you can almost feel that he is not at his best. Equally when he wins, you can tell he is on a roll. As such, you can only say he is a normal person who strives hard but gets up most of the time because of his concientiousness.

In the AE, I will bet with anyone for a drink or two (if it is collectible), that LCW will win this from PG - unfortunately, I do not believe the Chinese will get up, not because they are not good but they lack match temperament (being out for a while -- prove me wrong on this and I will admit I am not a good judge of things).

PG played a superb game to nullify LCW in the KO because of fitness but come AE, LCW would have regained fitness from his one month of rest. He was clearly complaining of playing too many games (and I am not one to disbelieve that).

I'd say never discount the Chinese when they are coming, with or without match temperament!;):D

Don't forget that LCW has lost to the ageing PG recently at the KO, despite beating him earlier in the MO. So LCW's performance had not been as consistent as one would like to see.

LCW will have the younger Chinese MS players to contend with among some from the other countries and it will be harder for him to win the AE. Even TH is raring to get his hands on that title as a newly independent pro.

In any case how many SS titles did LCW win outside of Malaysia recently?

If it is to be done, it has to be at this AE when LCW is still in good form. And that historic and pompous crowning will surpass even that of HH's! All of Malaysia should rejoice and the current economic gloom would be forgotten, at least momentarily! :)

For the AE is the most prestigious of all the SS, IMO. :D

With the economic woes in Singapore (I cannot keep count on how many recession quarters you have now:D), we will be neighbourly by sharing his AE success with you should he win.

HH did his job and now LCW will be a surprise winner too. All hail LCW !:D

yup, if lcw do win the 09 AE, it will be a surprise for sure (surprised xball even said that since he has so much faith in lcw):p Also the 300 lb monkey would be off his back too. If he wins the WC, then the 600 lb gorilla off his back. If lcw wins the 2012 OG too, cooler (and maybe pemuda) will be off his back lololol.

realistically, lets look at the 2009 line up. The young chinese pups are now just exiting the weening stage and want meat, fresh meat. If they can take some bites from lcw,TH, PG, it will be like passage into adulthood(pro status) for them:D :p and hopefully leaving enough meats for LD,CJ or BCL to make a meal out of them:pchomp:pchomp:pchomp:p

All thanks to X Ball for his kind thoughts, but could we also have a piece of his AE crown, at least a jewel, to tide us over this stormy weather? :p

Come to think of it, whenever I see the letter X, I can't help associating it with the word OX - the Year of the OX! You put it the other way round you still get a splendid XO.

Good tidings, I think, and this year should be good for all oxen. And if X Ball can make his way to England to lend his personal support to LCW at the AE, he can't be defeated, not even LD can subdue him. But don't get a matador to accompany LD, please! :D
