Here you go. First one is with shoes, second is empty. The bag is pretty big, my size 10.5 fit in there easily with plenty of room to spare. If you push the shoes to the very back, you can fit in a tube of birds in front.

Yeah, the zipper starts about 1/4 from the bottom of the back at the back and then unzips along the bottom. It is a bit of a pain sometimes since you have to lift that end of the bag to get your shoes in and out. The rear compartment of the older 9624 bag provides easier access.

I agree, in term of shoe compartment 9624 has a nicer and easier than 9824.
If yonex did it the same, it will be perfect bag

    Haha indeed...

Here's bigger versions of the pics (taken with my nokia):

Can't really comment on the quality as I only checked it out momentarily but seem to remember the side panels weren't reinforced/padded which I thought was pretty cheap but right now I'm wondering if that was really the case (should be the same as the blue so maybe liint can comment on that, in any case I like the blue one better)

There is padding on the outside of each side pocket, but not in the middle. And the shoulder straps are nicely reinforced. I bought both the 9824 and the 9624-9 and feel that the 9824 is better constructed, so I sold the 9624.

I don't like it either. Not a very good combination red and yellow.
still prefer blue and white. IMHO
