Meanwhile, Dharma Alrie Guna of Indonesia and Rosario Maddaloni of Italy reached the men’s final. Dharma beat Mohammadreza of Iran by 21-16, 21-18 while Maddaloni defeated Murat Sen of Turkey by 21-18, 21-18 points. The chance is good for Alrie to win his first international title (albeit it's only an IS title) after beating the more experienced Iranian player in straight-sets.
Dharma Alrie Guna had a tight game during 1st round to quarter final. All was finished by rubber game. What a tired game it is.....
Erm...you can guest i think by counting the number of indonesian player who participate on that tournament.hehehe.
Small consolation for INA as Alrie Guna Dharma won his first international title. Congrats to Alrie! Hopefully, this victory will spur him to achieve greater heights! Dharma Alrie Guna of Indonesia and Achininimeshika Rathnasir of Sri Lanka became champions in the men's and women's singles of the Bangladesh International Badminton Series which concluded at the Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium yesterday. The 20-year-old Indonesian overcame the challenges from Rosario Maddaloni of Italy in 21-17, 21-18 sets. This was the first overseas success for the lanky Indonesian who used his superior smashing skills to good effect to eke out the win against the more experienced Italian. Dharma was delighted with his first senior title and said this victory would encourage him to become one of the major players in international badminton one day.
I don't think so.....since he is the second pratama pelatnas player who won first place in 2011 after Arif Gifar Ramadan (Torneo Giraldia Future Series), and even the level is higher than gotten by Gifar.Hoping PBSI will not make a wrong decision and to be fair to all players.
