    Thanks event for the pointer.

I doubt psh will have a chance against the chinese. the chinese are too superior in this badminton circuit.

Park Sung Hwan could be the dark horse in this upcoming Olympics... his style of play is abit similar 2 LCW, can retrieve any kinda shot...

Ever since his finalist appearance in the 2004 Malaysian Open (where he lost the final to LCW), he has never reached another major final, until he won the ABC last month... Now he is gunning for more...

    Watch out for him...

anyone could translate how LD talked about PSH below??

translated by google, modified abit...hope it makes sense...

When LD heard that Park Sung Hwan had been trained to deal with LD in this TC but didn't play his best, LD frankly expressed his view, "He is not mature enough if he's just concentrating on me because there are many elite players who are outstanding. Even if he can beat me, this does not prove anything. He's a little younger than me, but he should have a better plan. Despite being Korean 1st men single but just concentrating on me, he's a bit short-sighted. Chen Jin, Bao Chunlai, Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade ......he lose more even in these usual results. His direction may be wrong, champion should be his standard and not to regard beating me as his standard. "

    I wonder where PSH is.
PSH has not played since the 2011 Yonex BWF World Championship in August.
    Is he nursing an injury?

Well, he did, but that does not explain his current absence. He joined the army at the same time as Jung Jae Sung, in February 2009 and the two of them missed the same tournaments during their basic training (AE, BAC, etc.) and they both graduated in late 2010.

Can someone confirm whether Park is still in the Korea national team? His name has been missing from the HK, China SS, Macau GPG and Korea GPG lists.

Park Sung Hwan is currently injured, he needs about three months to get back on his feet and will probably be back for the Korean Super Series in January.

It's good to know that PSH has not retired from the sport of badminton.
