We will have to wait and see. ;)

But you could always buy the newest one later anyways. :D

Why the sad face? As a consumer, don't you want the manufacturer to continue to improve on its products?

    Answer: "Of course!" :D:D:D

Thanks for the explanation. I see now that the sketch actually has the three dark metallic stripes. Three would've looked better indeed and makes more sense that way; I'd probably leave it out altogether or give the whole thing a carbonex metallic makeover ;)

"Better" ... different ;). No one including you even noticed anything and all the comments posted have been positive about the current paintjob [IMG]. For me personally either of the changes would make it better yes. Somehow it reminds me of a snake right now :D

One always wants their favourite racket manufacturer to improve their products but I can see Kevindd992002's point.

If it was known that the stripes were not right why wasn't it insisted upon that they were corrected before the first production run. After all as a consumer wouldn't you be disappointed to buy something new to find out it is not 'correct' and then to learn it will put right on the next run.

May be 'What 07' has an infinite amount of money to buy new rackets, some of us don't. One shouldn't be expected to spend more money on a product that should have been right in the first place.

For all you know nothing will even be changed and this is the final look "We may try to fix it for the second batch, or we may just remove the stripes altogether". The actual pics have been up since the 3rd, would have thought you could still have opted out if you hadn't liked it but like I said no one seemed unhappy with the outcome as it is now ... untill.
Panda Power T2V0-3 should have been some indication ;)

Yup, this is exactly my point. I mean, with this news should I just wait for the second batch to be "improved" upon? Or I should just push through with my recent purchase?

When will be the second production run be anyways? And will the design surely be changed/improved?

Cmon you guys! This is just minor cosmetic stuff. :shrug

The most important thing is that it plays excellently. If looks are important, then maybe buy a Yonex racket that'll cost double but not play as well. :)

i actually thought the current strips looks good.

as visor said, it is all minor cosmetic differences. what is more important is how the racket performs.

This can be spun many ways. What if Panda said he wanted the gray stripes that way? Then it's done, end of story...

...but as Sketchy said, the gray stripes came out a bit different than what we wanted but it was not a big deal. If we were to redo it, it would delay the racket another 30-40 days.

So, delay another 30-40 days and still not be sure if it's "exactly" right or produce the racket as is. Obviously we chose the latter.

Looking at the racket in person, you don't notice the gray much. It seems to blend in well with the racket. No one has complained about it and even a few complemented it looked good.

Finally, if we had to wait until the manufacturer got a racket exactly right, we'd still be waiting. :p Unless you can be there with the manufacturer step-by-step, it's very difficult to get everything just right. And what's just right for you may not be just right for someone else.

Yeah, well said Panda :) Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against the cosmetic look of the racket. Performance is more important for me :) My comment above (the one with the sad face) looked a bit of a complaint, but actually it was not.

You really can't be surprised that the graphics are likely to be updated. If you look at the T2, there are already 3 different generations - all with some slight graphical (and material) differences.

:D Exactly. Ask yourself what are you buying it for and whether you like it better with 3 grey stripes or 2 :p. I was planning to wait in any case, even if the cosmetics next time are horrible ;).
