There you go again. If you think you know CBA inside out and insist that's the case most of the time, suit yourself if that makes you happy. Kindly excuse me, end of subject for me.
But the risk is, it may backfire sometimes. It did this time, Chen Long narrowly lost G2 to Boonsak and has to stay on court longer. Most players would much prefer to whack the daylights out of their opponents, to demoralize them and make them believe they can never beat their stronger opponent, mentally defeated even before the match starts.
Sorry, Justin, not going to argue with you. I admit that I am anti-CBA, anti-BAM, anti-old-PBSI. The associations are the ones that makes badminton less prestigious. I should stop now too.
It's alright for Chen Long to experiment during competition when it's safe to do so, except that Boonsak Ponsana is no ordinary opponent. Btw, anybody watched the Chen Long - Goh Soon Huat match earlier? How did it go? Is GSH the next Lee CW?
Cl feeds of his opponent's speed. He reacts more then provoke, and is very patient, like a tiger. If his opponent is indolent, like Ponsana so often, they can put him to sleep
Sorry for butting in, but is there no live streaming or television broadcast of this event anywhere? I see that nearly all the big names of the sport are participating; it's very strange that coverage of this event has been so low key. Again, my apologies if this subject has already been discussed.
lin dan strikes again.. this time citing an injury that he felt once he woke up in the morning.. not sure what injury is that? for more info, pls refer post #555
There is no doubt that there exist team orders in CBA (and other assocs as well). I thought that was clear. Whether it is right or wrong is another question. But to deny that there are any team orders at all is to be willfully ignorant.

I was so looking forward to Sindhu Vs Yihan. Hirose proved to be Sindhu's nemesis again. Can Hirose upset Yihan tomorrow? She is quite an improved player over last 6-8mons and Yihan is not at her best.
