One can say the touch won over the speed

That's why Qingdao in CBSL invited intanon to be their No.1 WS player in the absence of Wang Xin who is injured, and Qingdao is the defending and twice CBSL champion.

I must say, Schenk is equally impressive, esp to the CHN camp now.

I pity schenk. I thought she can go ahead and win a superseries title as a representative of European players. But she missed again. She is increasing her pace when she plays a chinese player and am missing that pace here against Ratchanok.

Why Chen Jin have to follow orders from LYB for the upcoming Wang Zhe Ming. It is so unfair just to boost this guy's ranking. I bet Chen Jin will be forced to quit from badminton sooner than later like what did happen to Bao Chun Lai.

We'll see, as LXR has been inconsistant recently. It would be very good for the badminton world if Rat would win

That's the character of "Water". Mathias Boe wants to play like water. Water has great power; it can be slow but with it can always be dangerous like Hurricane and Tsunami.

last year IR lost to LXR with rubber game in QF...... it shall be a good improvement from IR by reaching the final... and we'll see the big match between them both tomorrow

schenk had paved the way for IR by throwing the number one seed WYH.. the toughest opponent for IR so far considering its H2H :6-0

It's not unusual for non-CHN players to play above themselves when facing the top CHN WS and then lose to other lesser players. The extra motivation and underdog mentality works to their advantage. The question is whether they can do it consistently, just one or two exceptional results is not good enough nor convincing. To rise to the top and stay there, you must keep winning often enough.

To some extent it is correct. But juliane is not underdog. She is performing well nowadays. She has the capability to reach semifinal but that final touch is missing. Some x-factor is missing in juliane, ratchanok and mitani etc. These three people are playing their best games nowadays. Congratz to ratchanok ... After series of failures, she atlast made a final.

Even though LXR's H2H with Schenk is 5-1 in her favour, I'd like to see her deal with the speed and power play of the latter, esp as their last encounter ended in LXR's defeat. But I can't help feeling IR is a more dangerous opponent because she is more deceptive.

I tend to think a brilliant attacking player can deal better with brute force than deceptive play. Interesting to note that LXR last beat IR only a week ago in the CBSL and they are scheduled to meet again on 1st Dec for the return match. Let's see how it goes tomorrow.

As for Schenk, her victory over WYH would be more impressive had she beaten a 100% fit opponent. Never mind ,there's always a next time. Schenk ,I believe ,is good for a couple of years all the way to Rio'16, remarkable.

Even i thought that. Nowadays, Li xuerui would have learnt the game plan of ratchanok very well as she used to play at CBSL. So, final is already decided. Rat has to improve her game multifold in order to face Li otherwise she will finish it off easily. 70-30 chance to Li

Jang is prettier - Maeda is cuter.
