Hi All, Got some specs but not all, guess we gotta wait a little longer. there is some new Tech am trying to get more detail on the technology as well. . hope the info is helpful to all . look out for more info guys
Can you post info about new carbotec racquets launched along with these models. I have Carbotec 505 but cant see any info anywhere on the web.
I thought Carlton Was forming with Dunlop in 2009. Well according to this source http://www.badmintonalley.com/Dunlop_Racquets_s/133.htm . If this is true why is Carlton still releasing rackets under their own name instead of Dunlop?
I am sure that it is only in Americaor something. Carlton has different lines for different areas. so i figure it keeps the line there because it is more of a mainstay compared to dunlop.
Hi all, Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year ahead. Just to clarify the issue about Carlton & Dunlop. The Brand owners own both names and have decided to license Carlton out and concentrate on Dunlop as a mass market brand because of the wider raquet sport audience that include Tennis & Squash. it would make more business sense as Dunlop is well recognised in the Tennis and Squash fraternity and is one of the top brands. Since Carlton is recognised in only the Badminton fraternity the brand owners have decided to license the brand out to a company in Asia that knows the badminton business and can do more justice to the Carlton brand name. Since the badminton community is not very extensive in the US, hence there is more concentration on the Dunlop Brand name there. i hope this inofrmation clarifies the issue. i believe that this practice will revive the Carlton brand name and provide more options and newer more interesting innovations to the beautiful sport of badminton.
Thanks for the info, and a merry xmas and happy new year!! Do you know what company it is that licenses the Carlton brand? Cheers, Twobeer
Hello All. Wishing you all a very prosperous and happy new year. Hey MJ any new info about the racquets coming soon? I am particularly interested about carbotec series.
Not the place to ask these type of questions. Do a search in the market place forum.. If the search yield no results whatsoever at all, then think of posting a new thread.
There is an ongoing Carlton promotion and if I recall correctly this racket cost S$69. Try Sport2000 at Queensway Shopping Centre Ground Level.
I do not have the number. Artric Sports is also selling this model. Contact details as below: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1096806#post1096806
