i now have li-ning n90-ii, n90-iii, n55. had tk6000 4u until recent, now only jjs 3u from victor. got adipower pro today and expecting n50-iii to arrive this week. Keen to get the mx90 3U after the new year and stop for a while ) also have victor trainer 135, haha
well i sold it to my coach coz he liked it a lot. i liked it too, but it felt a bit too light for my liking, a more solid feel of a 3u jjs suits me better n90-iii is the one i can't really put my finger on... n90-ii works much better for me. n55-iii was much much better, should have bought it again after breaking it, but decided to try the n90-iii...
Is anyone else having a problem with breaking strings on the jjs? It's probably a sign that I'm not used to it and my swings are erratic, but it's hard to get used to it when I break the strings almost every time I use it!! The mxjjs and tk8000... I don't know how to play with these two racquets without breaking strings.
If they're breaking at the top, that's nothing to worry about - that pattern is terrible for the low top cross string.
The JJS seems to have a similar problem to the ArcZS in that the grommets around the 2 and 10 o'clock positions seems to pop out a little which exposes the strings to wear when you scoop the shuttle up from the ground. If your cross strings are breaking at the top it could suggest that this is what's happening.
it's not the rackets, it's you mistiming the shots. the problem will go away once you get a bit better. I had the same thing in the summer - broke a dozen strings on two li-nings. Now the strings hold almost for months on them and other ones, jjs included.
Base on my experience, slightly pop out grommets won't wear the string when scooping the shuttle. Unless you are doing it on a rough surface. Only, miss hit will cause the string break near the frame.
Just got my mxjjs today.. It's true that mx90 and mxjjs are so similar, yet so different. Everything is almost the same but the feeling is really unexplainable. I guess it's the material that makes all the difference! I haven't hit a shuttle yet but I will get back to this asap.
Everything is almost the same but the feeling is really unexplainable. I guess it's the material that makes all the difference! aha. I haven't hit a shuttle yet wait, what? How can you talk about the 'feeling' without having hit a shuttle
Swung them both. With strings, orig grip. Is that not possible? sorry for sounding stupid but I can actually feel the difference o.o
Deity Both Mark and me could also feel the difference. What we struggled with was articulating exactly what that difference was. I'm interested in what you think the difference is. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Paul I wont get to play badminton in the next 2 weeks so it's gonna be a little while to play with them side by side.
Even two of the same model will feel different, considering Victor's weight variation. It's pretty silly to talk about a racquet's feeling when you haven't even used it yet... Goodbye credibility
^ i understand that was stupid but I'm assuming you dont have both rackets and dont know what I mean. You dont have to defame. Someone already called it out.
