Actually its red UM66 with red wine Karakal grip. But the camera on my phone is.... not "colourful" enough to show the red glory....

I wanted to go with blue... NBG98 with blue overgrip.... but guess this would have to do. :D

I'm considering picking up a ZF2 3U as well to compare and contrast to my 4U, but I tried that with the ZF1 3U and really didn't like it at all, racquet was just too slow for my preferences.

I'm curious if ZF2 3U will be manageable with better head speed, but I hesitate from my unimpressive ZF1 3U experience plus risk of additional elbow strain... just seeing if anyone out there has any real experience (more than a one day/session trial) with both ZF2 3U and 4U. I'm a pure doubles player (I'm exceptionally happy with the ZF1 4U).

You don't even need to consider a 3U from this quote alone.

The only time when I enjoyed 3U over for 4U is the head feedback where you'll feel much better with 3u.

Most, if not all of the time I would be using 4u over 3u because 3u is simply too heavy for 2-3hours game.

hey boyz ^^ (and girlz :p) Guess who has won a VT ZF2 3U last week end :) enjoy my pics.
I stringed it with NBG98 (usually used bg66um but just for the style i v changed) 26lbs, official Yonex pattern, pre-stretched.

I will try this beauty tonight, but don't have any expectation coz i usually play double with 4u BRS LHI , so not HH and not that Stiff. Nevertheless, I play single with my Apacs VP, so kind of similar. will see

    more pics : HERE

Man, Yonex is like a girlfriend that treats you badly. I haven't had a Yonex since the Z-Slash, and I know the Z-Force even in 4U will be utter crap for my game yet I'm still tempted to get one.

    :D

    But I probably won't. :)

Umm.... Idk bout VT80. I'm da kinda guy who ain't feel no pain or stress when using arm breaking rackets(dk why) but compared to the old ZF, Ik the ZF2 is a big step in the right direction. But, ik I swung the VT80 once quite sime time ago and now I think it feels sorta like the same or maybe even better. I think the best way is to try them out yea? Idk much bout vt80 so I'm not fit to help u ans this. Anyone else, opinions??

I've only played one session with the ZF2 3U and will go for another tomorrow.
I've only used 4U Voltrics before (including ZF, 80 and 70) so this is different in terms of weight for me. Just by holding it I could feel the difference, even if there are only 5-10 grams apart.

In any case, it feels heavier when holding it still, but works wonders when you actually swing it. I don't have any problems with it weight wise, however my problem so far has been with the timing. Since the head is completely different from what I'm used to it's no wonder. I also noticed though that especially on drives and clears that the shuttle do fly faster. I had so many outs on the baseline side when doing clears. The racket definitely needs adjusting too if you come from another type of racket. On the smash front, its hard to say yet. The smashes feel good, but I'm pretty sure so far that it's not that big of a different compared to my 4U ZF1. Might be adjusting issues related here as well.
Going to see how it plays out tomorrow.
