RichmondPro's Alvin Lau to play in Thomas Cup

    Great news today. RichmondPro's own Alvin Lau has been selected to represent Canada in the Thomas Cup finals in Jakarta from May 11-18. We are elated with Alvin's achievement and proud to offer our congratulations. We all at RichmondPro wish him the best of luck in his encounters with the who's who of world badminton.

    I believe Dave Snider from Manitoba was also invited. He won the Mens Singles at the Nationals held at ClearTwo this year.

    Nice one, I'll make sure he gets to see that. :)
    Alvin and Toby had an easy match against Nigeria but were completely overwhelmed by Guo/Xie of China. No surprise really. I hope he made the most of this experience. Let's hope he gets selected for the Korea match tonight too.

    We were also overwhelmed by "wind" in the stadium. That was rather interesting to experience.

    But anyway, we will be playing Korea tonight, and we're also on the TV court, so... I guess there might be a chance we'll actually BE on TV directly haha

    Good stuff. We have heard quite a bit about the drift in the stadium. Good luck to you and Alvin against KOR, and the rest of the CDN boys. Do you know if they will be finally fielding a "real" team?
