but astro in malaysia is always perfect heheh.. thumbs up! but sometimes when heavy rain, u know what will happen though
last time when they still in indonesia also like that.. heavy rain, can't watch.... Indovision is better... hahaha....
The contract between Direct Vision and Astro was finished on August 31, 2008, extended to 30 September and again until 19 October on 24.00 No longer contract then, so Dutch Open was the last badminton tournament to watch live via Astro. If Astro move to other Pay TV (AORA TV), I hope it's done soon. It's pity we can't watch DEN & FRA SS this year.
AK47 beat 4 India players en route for his Dutch title. Let's see how will he fare against Chinese top players ....
Andre have defeated Chen Yu twice last year... But lost quite badly do Lu Yi and Chen Hong in the past. Andre should have a terrific physical match against Chen Jin as both are not 'soft' players... Lin Dan and Bao Chunlai will probably defeat Andre today with their superior skills... Chen Long [note: not Jacky Chen the movie star] will be a star in the future... he will give headaches for Andre too, but if they meet today, Andre can still defeat him...
Andre is a great and very potential player. I wish one day he'll play for INA team in international event such as SEAG, AG, OG, Thomas Cup, etc. Since currently he is not a Pelatnas player, he have to get back in to Pelatnas first. But I'm afraid that once he gets in (again), they won't give him a chance to compete and send him back (again).
I think he will more succeed if he plays independently like now.... There r too much pressure when u play for pelatnas. But hopefully Djarum will send their players to bigger events such as SS so that the players including Andre have more experience and meet great players....
^^Have you..^^ ..or anyone else seen a brief video clip of him, in the Tournament Video Sharing-->Dutch Open 2008 thread, in one youtube link??..With the way he was yelling, I think someone standing outside in the parking lot could probably hear him..
Andre's name is on the list of Hong Kong Open SS and Vietnam Open GP... He is ranked # 17 now. If Andre can go to the HK Open quarterfinals, he may improve his ranking to #15.
Where has this guy been lately. Is he still active? Wassucha promising player a few years back. Some Malaysian Ex / current main squad team will remember him. He slayed a couple of them back to back. Anbody got news about him pls do share. Also, how is his Coach doing these days? TBBMBBN
Hm..He has just competed in India Open....reaching to Qtr and lost to Hafiz in 3 sets then he went to Canada for exhibition with TH and Persson...go to the thread" place to play" ,,click on "Canada West" then see the post of Racket Rally there.....
thanks on the info. Seems like he has only participated in 2 events this year. Is he not enjoying the privilege to participate in more tournaments like his peers?
