according to the stringer ........ that's their standard in order to make good impact, but to me it is no different ......... on of my friend just stringed his Yonex AT900 Power using this way (skipped 3rd-row from bottom), and he felt very good .......
I heard from a stringer that it doesn't really make a difference except that the sound is nicer....not sure how true is that...
I am interested in the following models, PRO-850, STORM PRO, Wave Power 61, Nanolite 3000. Could please please tell me for what type of player each racket is for, and also the price including shipping in northern ontario. thanks
I'm currently playing with the StormPro. The high flex and head heaviness help a lot in generating more power for those who don't have a strong arm. Clears and smashes are great. Control is average, which I guess is a trade-off for power due to the high flex. I must admit it took me quite a few games to get used to smashing with this racket - my smashes were stronger but flatter - it's as if the shaft snaps back a few milliseconds later than usual.
I just bought 2 used Sotx rackets a couple of days ago, but I would still like to know how much you are selling the Astec rackets, in case I don't like my new purchases.
has anyone played with one of the taper shaft racquets? How does it feel? powerful? floppy? The inner wave design seems to popular with companies these days. Victor, BK, and others.
Hi Astec, Do you have any stores/resellers in Penang, Malaysia? Have a friend there right now and trying to get him to help me pick up an Excalibur.
I have use the Storm PRO for almost a year. It is very fast and powerful. Shalf is a bit flex but that is the power come from. I have it strung at 26/28lb.... Love it
Last time i checked their website, they dont have too many models.I asked some store in jakarta when i went back last time,n they don't have them. They even said that their rackets r not that good, not too many ppl like em.But looking at how many ppl here like em,i really wanna try one..
Maybe you should try ASTEC's store in the Kelapa Gading area.you'll definitely have a lot to choose from.
Finally!.. ..looks like they finally have a website up...They should gain more exposure to the rest of the world~hope they'll update it often!..Thanks for the link, Sealman!
