Hopefully SDK able to beat DPY... This is very crucial match. If SDK beaten by LCW in 3 games, i could still accept, but for DPY. SDK has to win.

KSH/LYD won rather easily again the other 2nd class Malaysian pair. Please please I just wish KKK/TBH can win against Korean pair KSH/LYD and finally win one SS. They have been so unlucky; they are so close and frustating to see them as merely runner up many times already. Whoever wins the Semifinal please just beat BoMo!

What if it is BoMo to win the Korea MD title instead of KSH/LYD or KKK/TBH, and then they will gonna do "oppa gangnam style" right in front of korean spectators...hahaha

Tomorrow Wang Shixian vs Mitani. Rematch of China master's second round. I wish Mitani wins it and go to finals . Lets see whether shixian defends her TERRITORY as somebody was mentioning.

sorry guys, that was a statement not a question.
i don't think LCW had lost to the same guy twice in a row, at least for a few years.

    i may be wrong.

LCW lost to Chen Long in 2011 Japan & Denmark Open. Then China & HK 2011 to Lin Dan. It was touted as CL's coming of age/breakthru as top tier player. 3rd time they met in France LCW beat CL.

So, as I recall, the one that LCW usually lose 2X in a row would be LD. CL was that time in 2011. In 2012, esp after OG qualification, the players didnt have that much opportunities to play each other, less participation

    thanks for the info.
even with that LCW got 5 SS titles that year!
so, between LCW, LD and CL they got 11 out of the 12 titles in 2011!

and, who got the other one? now, this is a question.

Yes, Lin Dan and Chen Long are the only two players who have beaten LCW twice or more in a row. But this time, if DuPY goes to the final, I doubt he or anybody else here can wrest the title from LCW.

DuPY may have come close the firs time and succeeded the second time but he won't be third time lucky ( and I don't mean win by luck, in case somebody misunderstood me again); in future, it's possible though, for DuPY has improved significantly and will continue to be better though I doubt he can match Chen Long who is more talented, on the assumption both are equally determined and diligent.

Wang Zengming is improving too, acquitted himself well against LCW by taking the 1st game before losing by a very respectable score in round one. WZM may do well in next week's MAS Open, hope to see him advance to the final with LCW.

You mean, in 2011, one of the 12 SS titles escaped the three, LD, LCW and CL? Hmm...which title and who won it?

I remember that instance cos there was a lot of discussion on it in BC, you know, CLong's breakthru & all that. Spore 2011 was won by Chen Jin, oh, the famous walkover from LD in the finals
