No he hasnt retired.. he is skipping the Malaysia And Korea opens along with the rest of the china team..
Now,it is a good question.Justine henin had quit in her peak. Thread starter's question is somehow debatable. I know lin dan was not here for some 'reasonable' reasons.Whether or not a super player like him will retire in his glorious days,is always an interesting discussion.
To spend a lifetime training and getting to where he is he may as well make the most of it while he can. Perhaps his next goal could be ALL titles .
Well, the biggest tournament left for LD is Asian Games.... if he retires, his achievements wont be completed.... just like TH, hasnt won All England
it's not unhear of for sportsmen to retire early at the peak of their careers. bjorn borg retired from tennis at the tender age of 25.
does anyone have a list of his accomplishments? and what he hasn't won? you know, in case he does retire lol...not that he would, and i'm sure most members here know that
If it's about money,Lin Dan could have used his celebrity title to work on it. i hoped he'd stay coz he loved badminton,n thats all.
