Played a 1hr mens double session with my 3U MX-JJS. First time I just stuck with it and not switching rackets around. Must say... I'm quite pleased with it. It gives me a great smash and control at the net. I think I've found my doubles racket to use with my Sunday badminton group (around or just below my skill level).

first impressions on a recently purchased 4U MX-JJS..

    definitely stiffer than a MX-60.
    4U MX-JJS swings slightly heavier than my 3U MX60.
I can imagine the 3U MX-JJS will swing even heavier.

Paint job is good but I'm not too hot on the matte painting on the sides.. I personally prefer the glossy finish.
Is the matte finish more prone to paint chips and scratches? I know it's cosmetics but i does affect resale value.

Just want ask a question, I am using mx jjs too. Previous grip settings is with original grip intact with karakul tribal grip, but now change to towel grip intact with original grip, feel thickers and the bp sure drop, not sure will this affect me?

I heard that the mx jjs is being discontinued already, is this true?

    Hey Guys,

I have decided to buy a mx JJS. I have read thru the whole forum.
Currently, I have only used/stick to using BG66/BG66UM/Ap62+ all this are thin strings. I have yet to use a BG80/BG80P before.

What i am asking is, can i use any of the string above? or the best setup that currently most are using are with a thicker string?

original grip is quite heavy..and karakal grips are usually pretty big arent they? do you have string in it? 280 is way too low

Just got a MC JJS (3U) from Eric at RKEP. Very excited to try it out tonight!

I noticed that it is manufactured in China. Has this racquet always been manufactured there? My two (broken) MX 80's were made in Taiwan. Wondering if Victor is changing its production process and whether this will have any effect on quality. Thoughts?

I'm going with BG80P - matching orange colors.

BG66UM also works pretty well. The yellow goes well around the orange black frame.

Mine is strung with NBG98 - beige (or known to others as "rice") colour. Looks cool.

Haha, "rice"-color :D Officially it's called "gold" if I'm not mistaken.
Back to topic: Unfortunately there's still no review between 3U und 4U of this popular racket... :(

Picked up a MX-JJS today as a backup for my VT-80. The shaft of the JJS is definitely stiffer than the Voltric. Can't wait to try it out later tonight!
