Nothing big. Had the translator translate his words correctly, the conclusion is that many teams treated this event less seriously than before by do not sending their best players.

Just makes me wonder, how unserious the Malaysia team is by including the WR#1 MS player here, in the less important tournament? And add it to that list, their best MD and XD pairs too, together with the best player line-up they could had.

you dont have to take team events seriously when your team is weak.. I'm with him this time... why waste time on this? better concentrate on individual events like MS in other competitions

Very acceptable post. But one little problem here is LCW spoke that many countries take this event less seriously now. It's okay to speak for your country, but to speak it for another country? Does he really know how other countries take this event or just based on personal opinion?

In fact, Germany without their superstars players and Korea with smaller team (reasons why LCW said the other countries not that serious anymore) still have some fighting spirit to step further with such team. So is that true that Sudirman Cup is not that prestigious anymore like what he said really makes me curious.

Even based on your reason, the Korea team coach's post-match interview, despite been losing, still show some optimism and positiveness compare to LCW's.

But i will stop here. Thanks!

Just as in the AE 2013, LCW was lucky to 'escape' a first round crushing.
It appears that LCW's stamina is not as good as it was three years ago and obviously he has to win in two games or face possible defeats. He was very good in the 2nd game but the rubber was a different matter. Hopefully his two coaches will impress on him this reality.

He is wearing either a back support or weights over his black t-shirt.
