    Improving footwork/having proper footwork is the most important.

    What shoes are you wearing? SF Green/Blue/Orange will improve you step.

    So are you currently using the SHB100MX with SFB? I'm curious to see how long it takes for you to rip through the whole heel!

    Yep, that's the best performing shoe and insole combo I have tried by far. I wish it was a bit more comfortable but it's "good" enough.

    Is it a badminton specific shoe? Or close to it, volleyball, squash, racketball, court training? If not and does not have decent support as well as stability, I'd recommend getting a badminton specific shoe because no insole will help you that significantly if the shoe (foundation) is not proper.

    I finally bought SF Blue for my SHB100MX and the combo felt amazing. Best money I've spent in a while.

    DinkAlot can we get an update on how the SF Blue are cutting into your SHB100MX?

    I stopped wearing the MX and have been wearing the LTDs exclusviely for the last week or so. The Blue insole forefoot area is wearing thin. I estimate, there will be a hole in the forefoot area in another month or so.

    Update: SHB 100-LTD coupled with SF Blue is the best shoe/insole combination I have ever tried for badminton. I think any manufacturer will be hard pressed to significantly improve on this. I feel the performance and comfort limit for a badminton shoe has been achieved; or at least darn close to it.

    Kudos to Yonex and Super Feet! :D

    The LE = LTD, it's interchangeable.

    LE = Limited Edition
    LTD = LimiTeD Edition

    Again, it's the same shoe.

    Insoles/Footbeds

    Anyone tried the Orthaheel footbeds before?

    I was shopping around over the weekend and came across some orthaheels, namely the Sports version. Browsing around the website - www.orthaheel.com or www.walkpainfree.com I also saw there is a shock absorber version (SF Orange equivalent?).

    Being nosy, I went back to the shop and took the Sports one out from the packaging. It looked pretty similar to the Superfeet green that I have, with a rigid heel cup at the back. I think the Orthaheels have a higher arch than the SFG's, which was be uncomfortable for some.

    I'm tempted to give these a try, as they are around £5 (USD $10) cheaper than the SFG in the UK; thought I should ask around to see whether anyone has tried and and what their opinion of these were. In any case, I won't be spending the money until payday, so thought I should ask :D

    Edit - found out that the US postal add for them is in San Rafael, California - so thought it might entice our SoCal Panda to check them out :D.

    Martin, where in Ontario do you live in? I bought mine at the New Balance store in Bayview Village. It's on Bayview and Sheppard, just north of the 401.
