The idea is not new, but this WPS looks like rubbish. The plastic between holes and strings looks really chunky and will maybe destroy the aerodynamics of the head. In my opinion totally useless. Adding leadtape at the head and grip is a lot easier, looks better, will perform better and don't require a new stringing job when you want to change something.
My personal RSL m11 Heat 600 - length=675mm, weight=94.7g, bp=301mm (nbg 95 + toalson ultra blue at 20% overlap) its medium flex and heavy headed. (I didn't realise it was going to be a heavy head racket when I first got it) I can play with it fine, but not my type of racket. And its relatively easy to generate power since it is medium flex and heavy headed. Its quite cheap in HK. HK$580 If you can read chinese.... http://www.discuss.com.hk/viewthread.php?tid=14441599&extra=page=2&page=1
ssgg007, have you play with Yonex armortec 900 power befor? Is the M11 heat 600 anything like the AT900p? thanks
Oh well.. ture. RSL is getting more expensive now.. But this brand been around more than 80 years.. I had been using their shuttlecocks since 12 or 15 years. It's almost the oldest badminton brand in the world....
I am looking for an online store in Asia which sells a RSL X5 silver and which ships their goods in international wide. Does anyone knows? I hope your recommended store is big as mybadmintonstore.com or sportsofmalaysia.com . Thanks in advance.
You can always try RKEP. I recall someone buying the RSL X5 Silver for $125 + shipping. I bought a few rackets from Eric last year. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/RSL-Diamond-...893?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e622601dd
RSL thread so dead..i just became another RSL users...new RSL racket currently is RSL evo..is an improvment of rsl diamond x5 series
FYI, there is M12 in the past, but now all RSL racket will be replacing in M11 cause RSL racket is for two years now(just like rsl evo is writing on m11 evolution), so customers does not feel the technology being leave out..the next M series will be M13 for the year 2013 and 2014
The weight positioning system is the only downfall for that racket imo...that's why am hesitant in buying it. I would hate adjusting it everytime because it was either too light or too heavy. Still sticking with 2 of my RSL diamond x5, until something new pops up.
Rsl evolution vr3 RSL EVOLUTION VR3 Racket: Strung RSL super ti-630, 24 x 25 Racket specs: Medium flex, 7.0mm thin shaft Racket grip with: RSL grip WPS position system are: 0.5g at top, 1g (0.5g on the left, 0.5g on the right) for the sides Whole racket with the WPS system Frame Top Frame Shaft Thin shaft 7.0 mm with code WPS system, top of the frame WPS on the sides WPS Base Plate +0 (while screwing it out) After screwing the base plate..inside is full of sharp object Review need to wait..busy for assignments now
Overall review..the RSL evo racket is good for me..i does not know to others..since i does not use many racket A racket that u can keep changing, like from the starting of the game, since i have full energy, i change the base plate to -1, which means the high is more heavy, so the power will be there. As long for continuous 1 hour game, feel tired, switch it to +0, so it become more lighter..so is a wonderful racket..although the top plate, side plate u cant change But at least the base change do change The side plates and top plates can change when string broken, with the settings right now, u can keep playing and get use to it, string broken.. then improve it. PS..i does not know how to do reviews..paiseh!
My friends also a state player, she is a female, she had RSL racquets as well. She mentioned that RSL have a hard frame, clash with other racket, ppl racket crashed, while RSL still maintain. The RSL racket give solid feel to me. Although it cant sustain high tension.
