Just a side note. My wife tried out RDiS300 the other day. First impression before using the racquet, "Damn, it is an ugly racquet". After she hit around about 1 hr, her first sentence is "It is a damn UGLY racquet". She hit the tennis ball very well with that racquet. She did not even care about how the RDiS300 perform... NS9900 has almost the same graphic except it is in white. On the other hand, the new RDiS100 look much better. It is in red...

That was the first thought that came into my head too. :p

Personally, for the ISO TI SP, I like the original paint job- a mix of black, silver, blue and gold- a lot better:

http://yonex.ru/images/rs_iso_ti_sp.jpg (Sorry for the puny image; it was the best that I could find)

But IMO, if I had to choose based on aesthetics between the NS9K and NS9900, I would hands down go with the NS9900. :D

Thanks you Ants for your review.

NS9900 looks awesome and from ants feel about it, it certainly can be a very nice racquet. I shall give it a go once I get my hands on it.

Oh yes, what about the stringing pattern? From what I've seen it looks like the specific pattern of a NS9000x/s.

They put the AT900P color (down frame) to be up frame.
And true the down frame is just like lolipop.
I don't think is a good combination, too much swivel color on head and down frame.
But if the playability is good, does color matter?

all thsoe swirls, stripes, and mixed patterns are mostly meant to increase difficulty to copy original exactly.

You probably don't want people to look at your racket and immediately associate it with that...

Haha, now buyers can count the number of stripes to determine whether or not a racket is authentic. :p

Well, I guess I prefer symmetry, and the colors on this racket are more menacing than "bling" compared to NS9K. But I can definitely do with fewer swirls.

Looks pretty badass, compared to the NS9000 series which looked more friendly and tame.

Lately all of the new NS series racquets look more aggressive, with darker colours compared to before when they were all bright and silverish.

What, master twobeer? Are you implying Yonex "borrowed" ideas from Head for that new tennis racket (RDiS or something) and NS9.9K?
