WS is a wide open group. Top 10 players are capable of beating each other. Given the scenario, it would be hard for pv to beat everybody, even at her peak, few years from now. Rutvika Shivani and Rituparna Das should step up soon to form a formidible Indian WS force along with PV and SN.

Angga/Rian lost narrowly 20-22, 19-21 to Liu/Qiu. They were leading 19-17 in both sets and somehow yielded the advantage right at the end :( Another common problem INA players faced....crumbling during crucial stages!

The way she played today, no wonder she is highly rated.....
Tomorrow she will be favourite to win the title as she has beaten Julianne in their previous meetings... India open has been good foe thai players. They have won it in 2011, 2012, lets see if IR win it tomorrow.

Don't worry, their time will come. The
Indonesians have shown great improvements in the last few months. No doubt, they will be in top 5 by year end, replacing the old guards like Koo/Tan etc

I would think (otherwise) that this Chinese pair Liu/Qiu played better during tight games. Yesterday, they beat Boe/Carsten 21-19, 21-19 (I think) also very close game.

IR is still very young, and when I saw her play today, I think she added another dimension to her game by trying to intercept high mid-court ball and dropping it to the front court.
Due to IR shorter height, this will save her energy from running to the back court and also adds speed to her game with this high mid-court interceptions.
Hopes IR wins her maiden SS title tomorrow. She has good record against Juliane. :)

WYH and LXR will be in the top group. The rest of top 10 are about at the same level.

Ok. I agree China hasn't got dominant players under 20 that we know of but they never have difficulties to find some one in time.
