4 times a week during school normal weeks...these past 2 weeks about 30h a week but thats cuz im off...note: whenever you play more than 20h you may well get very very very sore
I play in 2 clubs, if I play to both full schedule it's 6 days a week. clinic / training Sat & Sun on top of club play. I usually go later in the club hours on Mon & Wed to wait for the crowd to thin out so I can play some singles / drills with my buddy. Hard to play for long on weekends cuz the gf will start mumbling gradually turning into a full on bitch fest Workout in the morning before work and then if my schedule permits play in the evening.
Sun: 3 hours social play Wed: 2 hours training Thurs: 2 hours social play (on and off) Sat: 2 hours training How do people here get 4 hours of coaching per session? Unless you're in the state team/nearing competition, but private coaches usually offer just 2 hours a session no?
used to me once a week....then layoff for about 4 months recently... now back to once a week ,into the 2nd week now.next week will be twice a week...same as.... --->> Belly is getting bigger and movement is slower sigh. LOL......
Formerly Played / trained 7 days per week ranging from social sessions of 2-4 hours and training sessions of 3-4 hours. Due to continuous injury and lack of motivation stopped playing for 2 years. Now back training 3 days per week and hopefully will be able to increase over time back up to at least 5 days per week depending on fitness/competition results and my body condition.
At one point, I had played for 13 days straight... Took a day off and played 7 more days after. This probably killed my knees in the process. I cut it down to 4 days a week, a day in between to rest.
Right now only 2 hours on a monday, maybe another couple of hours if I can get a few people together to rent a court. Used to go to a competitive club in the summer as well but now they have started league games and I'm not good enough to compete with them yet Shame because badminton is such an addictive sport, only started in August and I already wish I could play every day :crying::crying:
I once played 3x weekly for 2-3 hours each time, pretty much all singles and drills, and I really felt it in my knees after about the third straight month of it. As much as I love badminton, I had to cut it back to maintain my health for the long term if want to continue playing for years.
I play everyday! This is my full time job so I do coaching/drills most days, play competitively about 8 hours a week but in total about 32 hours of badminton related activities Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.
