Here's my genuine pics for reference http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44443&highlight=ns9k Eck, I still can't see why your racquet is counterfeit. The serial font is the same as mine, the J on the Japan on the green buttcap is genuine, logos all look fine to me, stock wrapping and paper sticker looks genuine as well. The two middle bottom grommets flaring out could be from an improper string job, but otherwise, even the top grommets match my pictures. I don't have the ultimate list of serials, but just from my personal inspection, I'd have to side with that it's real~ dinkalot's 3 ns9k's are all genuine and it proves that there's some minor variation in the nano's. Where did your aunt buy it from and how much? Can you take 2 very good pictures of your serial + cone #'s again as well as the grip sizing on the other side? Sidenote: Matt's very experienced with counterfeits and I get all my racquets confirmed by him! I could be very very wrong~!
Optiblue, There were additoinal details but they were mentioned offline. Money's racket has 'Nano Technology" on the side when it should of been "Nanoscience". The second is the recommended tension is incorrect on the sticker. 240462CH is one of the common counterfeit codes which have been brought up in the forums in the past. Also on the T-joint, the grommets is not correct in the genuine one. Can be confirmed with your pictures.
sigh... so the day has come where counterfeits have genuine looking buttcaps~ that's one more thing off my list as "genuine test" props to matt
