No. I have stopped buying light rackets after breaking two of them from the wood grip. Heard that SL is more head heavy. The TLE is good in term of stability. Now I see that MBS is selling Tantrum Light Infinity, the new version of TLE.

APACS dont need a copy. The lethal 60/70 and even 90 are at least as good in my opinion.

Can the smashes from these light rackets be more powerful than your visible hollows?

Okay, played with the 3U VT80 for 1 hour pretty much non-stop tonight (all doubles games). Really glad I didn't get a 4U, as the racket felt light for me already. Sure, it felt super head heavy with dry swings, but in-game (with adrenaline pumping hehe), it felt fine. Played with a different group of people, about intermediate-advanced level (they are overall better than my usual crew). It wasn't long before they commented that my smashes were very powerful (even though they could take a lot of them, they often lifted a bit too short and either my partner or myself would finish it off nearer the net). Really like the overall feel of the racket. Contrary to what people say, it's a very fast racket too. Seriously, it's all about technique and adapting to the specs of the racket. Didn't get any "wrist pain", "shoulder pain", or got "tired because it's a demanding racket" the entire night. Who knows, maybe I might have if I played the entire 2 hours with it, but I doubt it. In my opinion, those who get pain or find it too demanding simply don't have good technique/fitness.

So why didn't I use it for the entire 2 hours? Well, I had to directly compare it with my apacs Lethal 70 and Tantrum 300. So which racket was the winner? The answer is none. All three rackets are amazing. If I had to pick one, I'd still go for the Lethal 70. My smashes were just as fast, if not faster with it tonight. One thing I noticed was that after using the VT80, I felt that the Lethal 70 was an even balanced racket (not head heavy at all!). I think my swing speed was slightly faster with it when I smashed, hence the reason for maintaining powerful smashes. The same goes with the Tantrum 300.

However, I think once I get more used to the VT80, I should be able to get even more powerful smashes. Time will tell though. One thing is for sure, the VT80 is an excellent complement to my current apacs rackets. It plays differently and is very enjoyable to use.

Good to hear that you got the VT80. I think APACS's fan would like to hear which rackets is a winner or a more detail review. Why VT80 is an excellent complement to your APACS rackets? What is missing in your current APACS rackets? Can you be more specific?

I asked you before that from where did you buy your L70 + 300 for $158. I have not got any reply. I am interested to buy them. Can I get the reply? or it is a hush-hush deal! :)

I can bet with TLE you can generate as powerful smash as that of from any other head heavy power rackets including VHs. You need the fast swing and perfect hit at the sweet spot to do that. So wrist action is very imp with TLE. But clears are not that easy. There the VHs wins.

I don't think there are any apacs rackets with a balance point of over 300mm. The VT80 plays quite differently to my T300 and L60/70. Being an "advanced-level amateur", this is good fun for me.

Check your PM with regards to the L70 + T300. I don't think you'll be able to get such a good deal again though.

    i own a FW 100 (76g)- BG66 Ultimax @ bout 22-24lbs, stock grip + overgrip
need fast full swing, decent clear, decent smash once you time it right, responsive defense

was in doubt in getting fw100 / fw200, in the end took fw100 instead since i was previously using fischer x-lite (79g), i would be interested in seeing how fw200 plays being the lightest racket ever made, do you play in subang?

    Visible Hollow 2000 / Visible Hollow 1800 / Tantrum 200

Received 4 visible hollow 2000s. The balance points are within the error limit. The racket is easy to use, easier than VH1800; more aerodynamics (like VH1700). The speed gives hell lot or power. The control shots (only first day of play) do not come out as precise as T200 but they are above average. Overall feels head heavy without additional PU grip. The racket is stable, shot are pretty much precise. Racket vibration/impact shock is less.
    Power: VH2000~ VH1800>T200
    Speed: VH2000>>T200~VH1800
    Control: T200>VH1800>VH2000
    Stability: T200> VH2000 ~ VH1800
    Stiffness: T200>VH2000~VH1800
    Shock absorption: VH2000~VH1800>T200

Congrats. The vh2000 is indeed damn powerful. Much better than the t200 I had. Totally shock less.

    25lbs.
No elbow ache with this one. A dramatic difference for me. Now I can go back to gym and lift heavy weights even after playing for 2-3hrs.

vt70 clone is already in malaysian market for months. It's called 'finapi 77' and the price is same as the n900p. Haven't tried it so cannot comment on how does it play
finapi 88 (vt80 clone) is rumoured to be available anytime soon. However i doubt it will play better than any 2 digit lethals (even with my old 35) :)
