That is a bold prediction of China only taking 1 title. My prediction is that China will still end up with at least 3 titles, and still likely to get all 5. The likely outside China who can be champion : LCW, Ahsan/Hendra and Denmark XD

LYB has cautioned Chinese fans not to place too high hopes on Team China this WC for they are undergoing a changing of the guards with the younger players replacing the older; during this transition period there is bound to be teething problems and unexpected hitches that would take time to resolve. FYI, on the non-CHN threats, LYB and his coaches have thrown up the following names:- MS - Lee CW for sure, XXZ also mentioned Tommy and Rumbaka as dark horses; WS - ZN listed Sung JH, Intanon R, Saina and Schenk(who has withdrawn) in disorder; MD - Zhang Jun views it as wide open with several pairs equally capable of winning it having in mind LYD/KSH and Setiawan/Ahsan, also Boe/Mogensen if they could regain their form last year, including KKK/TBH to play the role of dark horse, as well as not discounting other pairs (not named) causing upsets; WD - They will settle for nothing less than gold with WXL/YY the clear favourite and three other pairs in the running; their main concern is both Ma Jin and Zhao Yunlei have to do double duty in XDs and Zhong Qianxin's long injury layoff from which she has only recently make a comeback; XD - As expected Natsir/Ahmad, Nielsen/Pedersen, and Yoo/Jang not necessarily in that order but the Koreans merit special mention for having defeated ZN/ZYL twice recently. As said above, what bothers Liu Yong is Ma Jin and Zhao Yunlei having to play both WD and XD.
Make up your mind LYB & the rest of CHINA coaches: Zhao YunLei and Ma Jin should concentrate on XD only. They won't be able to win vs. YY/WXL.
who is MS in Men Single that you quoted above? after LCW and rest of CHN players, should it be JOJ from Denmark besides Tommy Sugiarto?
Thanks for all replies. But the purpose of my original post was to see who has the best chance regardless of the events. So thanks for everyone posting your selections in each event. But could you give an overall list ordered by the possibilities regardless of events, such as 1) LCW 2) LYD/KSH ... so that we can compare where is the China team weakest link. THanks again.
1) still none 2) Intanon Ratchanok 3) still none 4) Ahsan n Partner 5)still none My view is MS, WD and XD are impossible to win since China too strong, but Intanon is a stunning talent with so much in reserve and likewise Ahsan and Partner.
