As long as it's got the Z stringing pattern, I don't think I'd care about the smaller head.

the ns9900 do come in 2u as well, i guess i've always expected the head light series to come in heavy form as well?

Well, yeah, but the Nanoray series was on the lighter side, 3U and 4U weights. And if I'm not mistaken one of them was available (in some countries) in G6 as well. That's why I found the 2U spec a bit unusual...

I was all rackets could be had in G6, but apparently YY deems Western hands too big...

Japan Open starts 17th August; going by previous years, we should see this NRZ then.

    Well, we'd better...

Is it confirm that the racket will be Nanoray Z? Not a Voltric 90?

I'm guessing because it isn't available in 2U anymore ...

In other news I think I've read about a Voltric I-Force one of the previous days ... I see it has passed here already ;) http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/124768-(new)-voltric-i-force
Saw it mentioned again in a post along with NRZ-Speed so sounded like more news

There is some more written about the Z-Speed at the AT700 forum. Available in 2U and 3U, striking orange colour, RRP 26,000 Yen, 27lbs tension, some kind of Voltric style bulges at 3 and 9 o'clock. Rumoured record applied for at Guinness: (+)480km/h
Forgot what "beat box" is supposed to mean but perhaps thin cross section at top of frame and t-joint

Oh yeah the Voltric i-Force part was the release date in June ...

If the rumoured spec are true, is it just like the Nanospeed 9900 with a little tweak? I think since this racket is so similar to the NS9900 (spec wise), they need a bombastic marketing to boost up its sales; and it's a Guinness record.

Looking forward to seeing any leaked images though.

Tbh, I would be prefectly happy if that were true - an NS9900 with a Z string pattern and a flashy new paint job? Couldn't ask for a more suitable Yonex:D.

Try the NR800 and a high end NS you will have the same opinion. To me, NR800 is so badly made but who am I to comment, one of my favs using it.
