    It should be fake.

Cone code 081280SP means the date of manufacturer is 8, December, 2008 by production line #0 for Singapore market.

it has not been concluded that the last number is the production line. so unless you have some proof that it is so, please don't spread incorrect info like this. thanks.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Armortec 300 shaft Serial:5977701; Cone Date Code:160264SP (date=16 Feb 2006) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

This is not a shopping guide. This is a thread for people who currently own rackets to inquire about their rackets.

    To Leehsim Please check

    Hi Leehsim,
I went to Fradette sport ( Canada ) to repair the string on my racket , he saw some paint chip on the racket (11) in 5 month, he said you buy your racket on ebay (TH), it's a fake, he said he never saw a Yonex NS9000 with paint chip, what do you think. I compare my racket with the photo in badminton central, it's a real, it's not my first yonex and this one is awesome.

Could You, Please check it for me. :)

    Thank You
