I feel a tad embarrassed haha, comparing G-11 to G-10

Exert, typically, the overgrips with the holes look very nice when applied over something that is contrasting to your overgrip. The yellow OG with the holes would look nice if underneath is a black grip, for example. Once wrapped carefully, that contrast looks great. If you are not wrapping over a black grip, you can put black tape under, wrap and tape a black or dark paper around your handle, paint your bare handle black (I would suggest not), etc.

Are the colors for the G10 really that dull compared to the G08? The Ebay pics appear that way.

Nah, they're the same colours. Just looks dull because white balance of the picture was not right.

Just looking by the pics, it's not a great selling point. Thought it could have been the balance. Your post confirms it. Thanks Visor.

Has anyone noticed dry skin on their playing hand after using G08?

I really don't think it's the cause, I'm about to order a lot more, but I thought I'd check.

I'll switch to the couple of G10 I have for now to see if it makes a difference.

Maybe you should moisturise? Then you can get a bikini wax and hand in your man card too.

As long as I get to wave my "not ginger" card in your face I'm happy :)

On a serious note, if it is the cause then it might not be a suitable grip for eczema sufferers.

What do you mean by dry skin? I don't really sweat much at my palms but G08 does absorb moisture easily so it might actually be the cause.

I've been using G08 for a year now. Only thing I've noticed is that it get slippery after a few weeks of use so I end up changing every month. Might change to G09 instead since the tackiness lasts longer.

i gave a G9 and a G11 to my singles hitting partner and he's very happy with the G9 saying that the grip lasts forever!!! i take that as a good response.

    Isn't G11 G9 with holes?

Anyway, I tried G11 and G10. I can say that I prefer the cushion of the G10. Tackiness is close but the holes might be affecting the feeling a little.

Yeah just saw that on page 61... The fact that G10 is new while the G11 has been offered for quite some time confused me... (In fact, I bought my G11 before Eric launched is G10).

Am considering to order grips G08, G09, G10 n G11 to try out. But afraid these grips r not long enough for my style of gripping.

Use the broad end of the griptape to start gripping at the bottom of handle. Then all the way up covering the cone n finishing at the shaft by less than 10mm. No sticky tape required (unless the small double-sided tape is not sticky enough).

Has anyone gripped this way? If so, which grip did u use? What bout the overlap, is it 1/2 or 1/3 or less?

This is possible but requires a lot of stretching I have gripped it this way before but now I grip it to the yonex logo on the cone.
