Stepping Backwards! This is my new camera. It isn't a EOS 1D Mk3. It's in fact a vintage Nikon F2A! I don't think I am gonna use it to take any picture! But you know, that's a kinda joy whenever I hear the sound of its shutter!
hey, i used to have that toy too except it was a robot. i took it to my kindergarden and showed it to my friends. two days later, it was missing. i was so sad. my mom wouldn't buy me another one coz she told me not to bring the toy to school but i was stubborn. *sigh* you should listen to your mother...ha ha ha ha ha ha. by the way, i like the mirror effect.
No kidding! Oh wait, I switched to Olympus. Dang you guys for not sharing this link with me, I've been missing out!
Wow, some great photographers here! Can you list what equipment you use? Thanks! I have an Olympus C8080-WZ and a new Olympus E-510 with a couple of lenses. Especially Red, it's obvious you are pro...I assume you do photography for a living. Aaron: great photos, thanks for sharing, are you pro too or an enthusiast? Lurker: if you're not pro, you're on your way. I went to your website, excellent stuff! Kwun, Cheung and Ants: I know you guys are professional badminton players so you can't be professional photographers even though your pictures suggest you are...hmmmm...I guess you can be professional at both.
Dan, that's correct hehe... I use a Canon EOS 5D for portrait shots and other routine assignments. My EOS 20D is for sports photography. As for film photography, I will use my EOS 3 with a booster. My lenses are 300mm F/2.8 (company lens), 70-200mm F/2.8, 50mm F/1.4, 17-40mm F/4. An extension ring for close up shots. 2X 550EX Flash, 1X 580EX Flash and 3X Elinchrom Style 600S studio flash (company flash).
Red, aren't you on assignment tonight? HK is busy with important events tonight and the next few days.
cheung, i no longer work for newspaper! therefore, i m pretty relaxing and in fact, i've just come back home from my family gathering! exactly 10 yeas ago. i was assigned to the border with my 2 nikon f3 cameras under the rain and wating for the arrival of the p.l.a! 30th june 1997........it just seems like yesterday!
I remember that night! It was raining, I was looking down tamar site from an office. It was cozy inside with a few drinks and I was watching the fireworks. Later on, we did a countdown for the return of HK to China. Very good feeling to be part of a historic event. 10 years later, it's two kids in bed and me surfing on BC History does funny things to people. I'm wondering if there will be a stock market drop just like 10 years ago!
Ahemm.. m neither a pro player or a pro photographer. Maybe i'm using PRO Instruments but that doesnt make me a PRO. ehhehe
i kinda like the misty look of the ducks photo. very dream like quality. if you did, i would be very impressed. i would then be wondering who are piloting the airplane you're on. you are a professional pro intruments user. makes me hungry. i love tomatoes.
The "Venice" of Batam Early last month, we stayed overnight at Kelong Laut Biru (house on stilts built in the sea), Batam and took a day trip to a neighbouring town, about a half hour boat ride away, to experience kelong life there. There were bicycles, tricycles and motor cycles, but no cars and life there was something like in the Fifties in Singapore. From afar, this place resembles a bit like Italy's Venice of the East.
Hmmmm, that picture is interesting. Must be an Asian thing because in the U.S., you'll never seen corn on-the-cob and french fries with gourmet steak.
