Hi All, This is my first post. I want to know maximum string tension for high end version of yonex (arc10, z slash, etc). Is it safe to string it above the recomended tension (that usually printed on the shaft / cone) ?. Is there any way to know the max tension (not just recommended tension ) ?.
Lots of people had commented on the weak MP99 frame but I haven't had much problems when strung constantly above 26lbs. I think the stringer plays a huge role and being careful not to clash or mishit much will also make a big difference.
I strung an Arc 10 to 31, a Z slash to 30.5 and a mp99 to 28.5 all bg80 all still in perfect shape and no cracks. If you need any string info on yonex rackets pm me as i know a top stringer.
Most yonex high end rackets can survive 30lbs unless they're the ancient ones like original carbonexs etc.
Wow dude! And you really need this tension? I cant imagine to play with over 30 lbs. Does anyone know?
