    If you win the bet on LD won't win OG12, then so what? does that mean he's downhill?? or just the winner uphill?? even just look at the so-call WR, LD is still No.2 even not playing much competitions.

    If this logic is true, everyone could not win the OG or could not be WR No.1 is downhill.... then every player in the badminton world is downhill except the winner and WR No.1...

    Or could we say that LCW currently win almost every competition is only because everyone else are going downhill?

    It's a fact that everyone could age, therefore a player may have changes in playing style with time.. Armstrong didn't win his 7 times of Tour de France with the same way.... Federer didn't win his 17 Grand Slam with the same playing way.... i don't see why so proud of making statement on something always true such as he's not as physical as his past, he is no longer the same him in 2004, 2008, bla bla bla...

    if you really like to consider someone is going downhill, that must because that player constantly and continuously poorly performed...

    Super Dan keeps getting better and better.
    Instead of demolishing his opponents, he allows them to get match points and drag into rubbers and YET still win the game.

    This is much more interesting than finishing them off quickly.
    It is just like cats who toys arnd with the rat.
    Before finishing the rat off with a bite to the neck, the cat will smack the rat and make 'em run arnd dizzy.
    And just when the rat starts to get its bearing, cat will again smack it.
    This goes on and on until the game gets boring for the cat or the rat simply cannot stand it any more.

    this was exactly what happened to santoso and peter gade.

    A win is a win, whether rubber game or in 2 sets.

    Lin dan may have lost his Olympic 08 style of play,

    purely speed and power but that doesn't mean a total down hill,

    he has become more unpredictable, see how he edge Lcw until 16-all

    then whoops 5 points to take the Korea open 11 title.

    This is his asset never gone downhill yet :D

    If he maintain his fitness he is still able to reach almost all the finals.

    Other than him is only Lcw :D

    That's why Lin dan can have such a high ranking when he comes out to play :D

    2011 Indonesia Open SS Premier: LD and LCW can only meet each other at Finals Day

    .
    What I have found is, for the 2011 Indonesia Open SS Premier;

    LCW will be in the top half of the draw, together with top players;
    * South Korea...Lee Hyun Il
    * China............Chen Long, Wang Zhengming, Du Pengyu
    * Japan............Tago Kenichi, Kazushi Yamada
    * Denmark........Jan O Jorgensen
    * Thailand........Boonsak Ponsana

    LD will be in the bottom half, together with;
    * Denmark.......Peter-Gade Christensen
    * Indonesia......Taufik Hidayat
    * South Korea...Park Sung Hwan

    Also, LCW will be leaving for Jakarta today (Sunday 19-Jun-2011), while LD is playing against Chen Jin at 2011 Singapore Open SS on Finals Day.

    If LCW and LD were to face each other at the 2011 Indonesia Open SS Premier, it would be on Finals Day, on Sunday 26-June-2011. :):):)

    The bottom cap comes off if the racket slides along the floor when you dive. It bends first, and later on it comes off. So LD might find it easier to have it removed in the first place... I dont think there is any other reason to that.

    Could no agree more.

    One could not deny the fact that you would of course age, and got so many changes (including physically, mentally, ...) with time goes by. Yet a great athlete would always find another and another winning way in anytime in the awareness of all these, evolve himself instead of stubbornly stick one old way that succeed in the past (which I personally thought used to be the weakness of LCW and result in his continuous losing to LD in top events without knowing why until lately).

    This ability of LD makes him so different from others I reckon.

    That last post (last post!! :D:D:D) from Miss Boon was more of a copy-paste from an identical, earlier post. I remember the phrases... :D
