I hate lining strings, somehow I find the contact point and the hitting sound isnt quite there yet though they are durable. I still think the yonex BG 80 and 85 beats it.

Yeah I think so too, like there is a significant difference.

I'm wondering if the Chinese players actually use Li ning strings..

Wrong choice bro, u should use only 2 type of string : AP 70 and AP101N.

Lin dan used AP 70 which is equivalent to yonex BG 65 ..i ualso used it too

The china team players use AP101N.

ah ic. Is the accupower 90 the lower end products of the lining strings? I think its quite expensive compared to yonex strings.

Did Lin Dan's personal stringer string any differently than "less elite" stringers?

The quality of the stringing is first class except for the incorrect use of the starting cross knot. The labor cost of the stringing alone is 150% of the total cost of stringing a Yonex BG80 in Hong Kong. In addition the cost of the string is about twice the cost of a Yonex BG65.

I tried out my N55 today and tested it against my other racquets. It is quite a solid racquet but surprisingly it hits no harder than my specially made Chinese racquet. It is also less maneuverable than all my other racquets. To be frank it is also not as good as the old AT700, which I had modified for speed. Now, I wonder why my son is so keen to swap it with one of my used carbon black racquet, after having broken one earlier.

I recently just bought a N90 racquet too. And to be honest, comparing from what people have been saying on the forum, and how I felt when I used it, its a bit different. For example, many have seem to say that N90 is heavy, but from how I use it, its more towards light than heavy =/. Well at least, its lighther than the AT 700 ltd.

And just a question to all N90 owners. You know the "LD" initials on the cone? Does yours sparkles? Like a hologram printing? or does it only appear in one colour?(brown)

And how do you distinguish between a fake and real Li Ning racket? From what I've read, it seems that real Li ning racket have 72 grommet holes? Is that right?

You should see a scratch pad on the underside of the cardboard that comes on the racket when you bought it. There, you can enter the code into the Li Ning website to check for its authenticity.

Any bros here notice that the N90 used by Lin dan seemed to be different color from the N90 rackets sell in shops, i mean the top flame of the racket used by Lin dan is white or grey similar to armotec 700, whereas the one sell in shop ,the top flame of racket is black in color ?. Is it because of different paint job apply to the same racket, specially for Lin dan >

    Pls see link:

The top frame of the LN90 that is used by Lin Dan is white in color, it is due to some modification made by him. He has done it before, with his AT700... Modify the head to suit his style of play..
The head will be more heavy, i guess..

no, simply because you are not lin dan.

and a lin dan racket does not make you anymore like him.
