The juniors stars at the moments are still in the boys doubles. Teo/Heg will be the concentration this year. Can Coach Yap do it again.

Our main players for the team event should be :

    MS - Zulfadli Zukliffi
MD - Nelson Heg Wei Kiat/Teo Ee Yi
WS - Sonia Cheah Su Ya
WD - Chow Mei Kuan/Lee Meng Yean

Not so sure about XD.. we don't have a pair as solid as Ow/Lai last year.

yes.Limsy as i think we should build a webpage for the Juniors to read so that they knows that we are encouraging them. They must be able to accept critics as well as compliments. What we want to see is that they will eventually end up like Datuk Lee Chong Wei in quest for excellence.

In my opinion, Zulfadli Zukliffi is pretty strong. We will be banking on our MS and MD for 2 points in team events and another extra (hopefully from WS)
Our average is okay, I think is good enough to beat 'average' countries ;)

limsy, found something that somehow suit what you said. I also agree that we should just leave the juniors alone(as least not until they reach the senior squad).

    Here's an article worth reading.

    http://www.badzine.net/features/think-tank-by-all-means-stay-distracted/13674/

And the highlight of the article:

I am not sure what the other Bcers think, but I find that in general, sport psychologists tend to encourage athletes to have less interaction with the so called 'critics'.

My daughter got 4 As and i tot it was "good enough"... but Yang Li Lian got 9? Looks like there are some really good students in badminton like Hui Lin, Hui Ern and ofcos Wong Choon Han if my memory serves me right.

Zulfadli beat Goh Giap Chin 21-16; 21-9 :eek: GGC unable to react to Zul!
Looking forward to see what Azyrin can do against Zul tomorrow.

And who is Lim Chi Wing? Never heard of him but he dumped Soong in 3 games.

It seems that WMC coaching is really good. Looks at Evelyn and Lim Yin Fun, next year will be the main WS in junior tour. Lim Chiew Sien also giving good fight to Lilian.
While in U-16, talented Slyvia and Cheah Yee See looks good also.
