Wang Xin... thanx a lot for beat Zhou Mi.... really2 thanks for you... wish u verry bright future in baddy.. :
LOL, when i saw the thread's title, i dont think this "Wang Xin" is a badminton player instead i think Wang Xin's Diving player (who have a partnership with Chen Ruolin)
Wang Xin is so good, so exceptional that none, male or female, singles or doubles, has such a perfect debut before when entering international competition. Nehwal seemed hot, beat 2 Chinese girls in a row, grabbed the 1st ever super series title for India in history, but Wang Xin just beat her with little effort. Wong MC was hot at home, lost to Wang Xin too. Wang SX was hot, with the Malaysia gold title, but Wang Xin revenged easily. Zhou was hot, the world number 1, winner of the other super series, also cannot stop Wang Xin. Well, in fact, Wang Xin was not supposed in the China national team, not supposed to appear in those open tournaments. It was purely an accident. She even has to tell each one in the China national team that she would be return to her own club soon, no intention to occupy any position at the national team. From Wang Xin's story, I can tell there are so many wasted talents in China, so many gems hidden deep in china have not shined out yet. If all the Chinese players had the freedom to play international tournaments, then 90% of the top 50 ranked would be chinese. Hu Yun is another example.
Actually Wang Xin started playing international in 2002 ( 17 yrs old )and won 2 satellite tournaments as I recalled...for some reasons, she has never been admitted to national team until this year when Zhang Ning insisted that she is good enough to be in 1st national team..I am glad that she made it... Her weapon is sharp drop shot, defend and her footwork... In my Opinion,,she is more complete and dangerous than Wang Shi Xian...
Thanks for the info. Zhang Ning and Wang Xin are the same local fellows. Both are from Liao Ning. It's pity that even Wang Xin, as the best female player currently, cannot play the world championship, not only that, cannot even play a super series. Which implies that a Gold tournament is more competitive than super series. WC is even less competitive, and Olympics is the least competitive.
if I'm not mistaken, it was in 2002. That time, Wang Xin and Jiang Yanjiao were both admitted to the second team. I think they won the junior promoted competition (something like that). They were both arrived in Beijing, after a few months in Beijing, Wang Xin had a very serious waist injury. After checked up, the doctor told her not to train anymore, she needs to rest for a long period. So, she has to leave the second team and back to Bayi team to look for some treatment. Her fate is similar with Zhu Jingjing Pity both of them
Thank you for more additional info...I did ask team manager about Zhu Jing Jing....he said that she is injured....
sigh... made me down.... thank you hauge for the info... i hope that she will recover soon... hope that she will play in China Open and china master this year..
if you watch the Chen Wei Hua Badminton training video produced by SOTX and China PLA Badminton Team, Wang Xin is that lady left handed demonstrator in her much younger days.
