I wouldn't hold out much hope, mate - I told Yonex about some errors a couple of years ago and they still haven't "corrected" them...

The prices I've heard are, after the inevitable discount, very reasonable.

Well, Mark, that was the reason Adidas sent me the the pricing prior to release. They told me to review it and find errors and give my opinion on preliminary pricing. :D

I suppose it's "eyes only"... I've heard a few figures, but they're pretty closely grouped, to be fair.

Interesting that Adidas' racket graph is balance/weight, rather than balance/stiffness - Adidas doesn't seem to have the "pigeon-hole" weighting groups of everybody else.

It's great that the only racket I want is the one they wont be selling in the UK.

Do what so many others do - order from Germany ;) Usually saves some money as well.

Wait, you mean you don't have to buy from the same country you live in?

    ;)

    I guess so.

Also, do adidas have any codes to protect against fakes?

From the numbers thrown around I think the price will be about the same throughout Europe so I hope these prices I'm looking at are at worst RRP and perhaps more likely a preliminary content filler :D. It does have the duoforce priced higher than adipower pro so thinking the duoforce might creep towards 150 euro ... Had hoped it was lower in line than the Pro and Tour [IMG] (but the catalogue confirms it's higher position).

We seem to have missed the unboxing video of the Duoforce and BC teaser pics ;);)

    Stop teasing us UKers, kwun:mad:.

It looks to be a very heavy racket... problems moving it around?

    the force or the duoforce?

the force, at 92g, unstrung feels like a strung racket.

but the duoforce doesn't feel heavy at all. more like a 3U Ti-10 or MP99 type feel. i have been using it mostly since i had it strung and found it to be an excellent doubles racket. in fact, if i had to give up all my rackets except one, this might be near the top of the keep list.

The DF is supposed to come in at 89 +/- 2, which is technically 3U territory, but I'd call 89 "heavy":).

"Excellent doubles racket" caught my eye - you know me and my headlights;).

there is always the adizero pro for you. ;)

but for me, the duoforce seems to have hit the sweetspot. close to MX80 type swingweight, but much more powerful. i have hit some smashes that made me go wow.

another word about Adidas rackets in general.

i don't clash racket often these days (maybe it is an age thing), but when i do clash, they tend fall in the "ouch, this is it" category.

i have clashed the adipower pro, adipower duoforce and adizero pro.

in all cases, they are pretty solid hits, but in all cases, there have no chips on the rackets. absolutely none. once i clashed pretty hard i had to spend a good 10 second looking for the chip, and all i found was the paint mark from the paint of the other racket. the quality of the paint job from Adidas is absolutely incredible. i have never seen paint job as durable, it puts Yonex/Victor to shame.
