Recently I have heard suggestions from several people that Wilson are leaving the badminton scene. Can anyone confirm or deny these rumours? Wilson haven't updated their UK badminton webpage in several years and they are still listing the original Vertex model in their current line-up. It would be a shame if the did decide to leave the industry as they make some pretty decent rackets. I know they sponsor several Asian players. With the exception of Brice Leverdez, I am not aware of any European player who uses Wilson rackets.
Not sure if its true but their 2015 range of products are up in the latest catalog. http://ns.wilson.com/badminton/catalog/2015WilsonBadminton/ Lets hope its not true.It'll be a pity if they leave as they do make some nice rackets.
