given what happened in 2010 (in Uber cup), do u think LYB would give WYH a second chance to redeem herself? a tough call.. I think WX would be included definitely. It would be interesting to see which three WS players would ultimately be enlisted to play the Uber final. Maybe it would be an indication as to who will play in London a few months later.
i think LYB should give her this chance. afterall, i don't see other teams posses a treat (am i writing it correctly?) for china uber team this year. even if she lost (again?), the other 4 next match quite safe for them. positive point: if she make it, i think it would boost her confidence even higher. can get through bad memory in the past time would give her mental strength a lot of help. negative point: if she fail again, then i think it wouldn't be good for her OG preparation, mentally and 'list'-ly (LYB may send LXR instead of her).
speaking for myself, i don't think WYH should be solely be blamed for losing the Uber Cup in 2010. Du Jing and Ma/Wang also did not do well. WX did well. YuYang also did well. (BTW, I have never seen YuYang not doing well.) But there is one problem. If WYH is given a second chance, and she blows it again, it would mean the end for her. good bye for good.
yup, chinese uber team 2010's WD didn't play good and do their job properly. but still, her position as the team leader that time was crucial, and she didn't do it well. plus, their 1st WD also were young players, facing the fully experienced lee hyojung (am i correct?). it more likely to be chain reaction for me. hehe.. different case with the thomas cup. when LD lost to LCW in (i don't remember what year TC), cai-fu are exprienced enough to encounter malaysia 1st MD, and their win bring back that spirit to the team.
leading chinese uber team at the age of 22, guess tremendous pressure is on her.. but good to see that she's coming back stronger and tougher (mentally & physically).. Nice to see her play..
i think a lot of people said that china UC team 2010 lost is because their player's young age. experience seems to be important factor.
Age was one factor. Complacency was another. Back in May 2010, the Chinese women's team were perceived as invincible. It's similar to what we have now. Who with the right mind would now think any nation can defeat three of the following five group in one single day: WYH, Yu/Wang, WSH, Zhao/Tian, and WX? Beating just one of the five is very difficult. Beating three, highly unlikely don't u think? It's a statistical impossibility. That's how complacency is created.

The CHN team will have learned a huge lesson from 2010. They will be ruthless and wipe out all before them. WYH will be leading the charge from the front. She is so ready.

The entry list of India SS reveals Wang Shixian is again going to be the lone Wang; implying WYH and WX are finally secured of representing CHN in London OG. Tough times ahead of Wang Shixian: she failed to impress in India Open; LXR wins and qualifies; Poof!!! LXR just stole her ticket like that...how would you feel if you are in WSX's shoes ? Will you be pissed and severe friendship with LXR? Wang Yihan and Wang Xin could only watch the drama helplessly..
