Good point. I appreciate the offer taneepak and I'm sure everyone here would love to hear your suggestions as well.

I'll definitely keep silentheart's suggestion in mind the next time I string my racket. Logically, I don't know how that would work as the cross tension squeeze the racket inward regardless. With the north/south yellow post it seems to only support the racket from being squeezed in horizontally, making it look less round, but there's no mount/post that supports the racket from being vertically squeezed.

It's the positioning of the side mounts. They are not optimized and that's what's causing the racket deformation.

Panda had this problem too, way back when he first started stringing.

Once the side mounts were correctly centered (found out the solution from trial and error), Panda never had the problem again.

If Panda was there, Panda could fix your problem in about 2 minutes. :p

orrrrr maybe panda can get a hold of a nanospeed mount the racket on a similar machine and tell him which grommets the side supports covers. that might help better :D

Though that's a great idea if we had identical machines, we do not (have identical machines), so I don't think it's going to work.

There is a simple philosophy to all this though:

Make sure to center the mounts equally and evenly on the racket frame. And if anything, make it a bit biased towards the top of the frame.

Whatever or however it takes to do the above, that's what Dreamzboy needs to do. :)

    Yes, he is the greatest...

    ...well, besides Ormy4 of course...

...and Wolffie and TwoBeer, he can't possibly smash as hard as they can he?...

    ...and Gollum...super coach...

...what about george @ lcw...oh wait, he's second best (next to LD;))...

...then there Hauge, Mr. Super Player connections...

...some Lazy Guy and Pete surely is not cuter than Yannie :p...

...or as prolific as Cooler or as effortless at Taneepak...

...can't take pictures as well as Red, or know as much about bananas as Banana Kid...

    ...but he's still the greatest.

    :D:D:D

    Am I Doing It Right?

After reading this thread over and over, here's my "upgraded" setup. Is it correct? Is this what you guys meant? Please enlighten me.

The upper side supports are correct. The lower two should be put in the holes to the right, just like the upper.

Also, when you mount the racket, the side support needs to be at a right angle, directly 90 degrees to the racket frame for maximum support (you see pretty close to it in the picture below).

    If I get a chance, I'll take a picture...

looks like you got it right, about 12 grommets between the two side support.

however, make sure the holes are not covered.
