Same, status is now "being packed (EMS)", I chose EMS cause I wanted the insurance (and offcourse I can't wait that long) :)

"Insurance & 12 euro clearance fee + 21% BTW" you mean ;) (but I'm guessing it will have been marked at a low value so might not be too dear; interested to hear what you end up paying to customs [IMG]. In Holland the clearance fee for EMS is 19 euro even instead of 13 normally but non dependent on value of the package)

EMS charges are 12 euro on MBS-website for Belgium and that's what I've paid. Not quite sure how to figure out what will be payed at customs..

That ~12 euro is only for the extra shipping cost, not the 12 euro for the clearance procedure by Belgian Customs ... If the package is marked at full value then it should be ~(€147+12 for EMS)+21%= €192 + €12 = ~€204 (so an additional ~€45). That's why it will be interesting to know how much the package was marked with. Adidas is still new so Customs might not be able to find the actual value of it should the package be marked at a very low value :D. Dutch Customs can ask for a PayPal receipt if they don't trust the valuation ... not sure if they do that in Belgium as well.
Of course there is no point in having insurance if the package is marked at low value since only that amount would be refunded

Well, I've paid 175 euro for the order, so unless there is an extra bill attached when the packet is delivered, something is wrong in your calculations ;)

That would be nice then if they can declare it upfront already [IMG] (the taxable value for BTW is always item value + shipping cost). Thought it was still an alien thing from Asia :D. Only seen it with some stores in the USA so far ...
    What courier is used?

Perhaps you should pick up a few rackets and review them for us then?

I'd like to but they don't have sample racquets.

I did play with some of the range even before Kwun received any. Unfortunately, there was no way to hang on to them and give them a good solid review. I preferred the Tour.

I know they don't have sample rackets, but I was hoping you would buy them and test them. :p

It shouldn't be that hard to sell them on BC or eBay afterwards if you don't like them.

It won't be so easy to sell if I say the racquet is no good! ;) Plus, I'm not into trading racquets. Which is why I have about 20+ racquets at home.

Within 10 mins of reaching home today, what a nice surprise I had when my parcel came knocking on my doorstep after just 4 days from ordering! My new toy Adidas Adipower Tour is here! Too bad it will be a few days more b4 I get to try out the racquet during my regular games. But from dry swing, it felt wonderfully balanced for me and with a nice "swishing" sound. The color of the racquet is somewhat out of expectation as I was expecting a slightly duller tone of black, more like greyish black. But instead, the colour was quite pastel black & red. Nevertheless it still looks great and unique with the famous "3 stripes". Currently i'm using a MX-60 and I thought this racquet specs is quite close to what I like. Hopefully I can give a positive review after my Sun game! For now, let's just enjoy the lousy photos I took with my camera phone :p [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Wow, ur eyes so good can see it's a Zymax string?! Hahah....yup, i used ZM65 @ 26lbs....funny the racquet max tension only recommends 25lbs...even Yonex or other brands goes up to 26-28lbs at least for the max tension

if stencil; would it be a three stripe stencil or Adidas logo stencil?
probably stencil to align with the three stripes of the frame might be unique
