Got to see this big toy tonight (Trinhity's)! It's even better in real! Looks so sturdy and they took care of so many details, I just love it. The Gammas just look like Eagnas machines besides it heh.
Above is a display of all the possible settings on the machine. Let me know if there is a setting you would like to know more about.
^Ah - a speed option. The ES5 pulled really quick, and I'd have liked a slower one for my starting knots.
Has anyone used the "Timer" feature? Apparently it allows you to stretch a string for a specific # of seconds (1-30 secs) before the chuck returns to the "normal" tensioning mode.
i can, but i don't use it. tennis strings are much different than badminton strings (also the multifile strings). i'm using prestretch 5% and seconds 6, so i have a constant result. if you prestretch badminton strings on 20%, after the prestretch the string holds the tension. if you try the same with tennisstrings, the string is stretching a lot after the prestretch... so you need a constant to reach a good stringing result -> time. so i've using the timer function for tennisstrings.
Ah! Makes sense - I don't string tennis which is probably why I don't use it. Thanks for the explanation - this is helpful!
For those interested in more photos and close ups, please feel free to visit www.facebook.com/sTRINHgs
Uploaded 2 small clips of the machine on www.facebook.com/sTRINHgs Feel free to post questions/comments and LIKE the page THANKS!
NO WAY!!! Ok - let me see what I can upload here. Looks like I need to upload the videos to a third party site (i.e. Youtube) before I can share here. Sign up for facebook Mark!!!
You can embed the videos here once they're on Youtube. You'll get a thanks and a like from me, if that's any incentive P.S. Facebook? I really don't care what people who went to my highschool twelve years ago are having for breakfast.
